“The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and awesome! Officially this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is wonderful as a rest stop, is next to an In-n-Out, and very close to the American River and wonderful natural hiking spots in Auburn! Thanks, Holiday Inn staff for being so awesome :)”

“So clean! And the bed was vertical comfortable. At first it was off putting that there were so many construction workers around, but the management of this hotel have very high standards. Not the regular place we stay at for a family trip, but great quality.”

“The room was clean. Although the pool wasn’t heated and a bit dirty. Breakfast was okay, not anything special I’d say for $300 a night I expected more. Expedia also says there is a $20 parking fee. They charge you at the front desk at check in this “fee” which includes parking and amenities which are just like cucumber lemon water and these very small smoothies glasses by the front door. The fee turned out to be $120. I think for the price staying here wasn’t worth it. Although staff was kind.”

“Everything was good here. Loved walking in and seeing the curved staircase even though it meant hauling my luggage up myself. It's a cute place, I felt safe and the staff were friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Had everything I needed. And coffee on the way out.”

“When it comes to Motel 6, you always get what you paid for. I’m the one hand. This is probably the nicest motel six I’ve ever stayed in, but on the other hand… The rooms are never very clean, and in this case, all the usuals applied: grime dripping down the walls… dirty bathtub. Toilet not exactly sparkling. It’s like… Deep cleaning or scrubbing is just not their thing at a motel 6. And then there’s the lack of soundproofing… You can hear every step and every word of your neighbors’...

“The only thing I did not like about the property was that in the bathroom, there were no towel racks one small one that’s it and it really was a pain but otherwise it was a fantastic place. The rooms were clean. They smelt well. Everything was cool. People were fantastic. I would just put towel racks in the bathrooms.”

“The room had pubic hairs in the bathroom! And the tub needed to be redone better to cover up the mold. But it was a comfortable bed and very nice desk staff I would honestly go to another place for the same price in the area and have breakfast because the breakfast was nonexistent and very disappointing. We liked the coffee machine! That was awesome. Not worth it for the price. In my opinion there are other hotels in the area that are the same price that offer breakfast and are more updated as...
