“I spend a really nice weekend at the Moter Lodge. Will take long to forgett the kindness the owners showed me and the comfort the whole place offered. To be frank, Thames is nothing to see, but from the Lodge I did daily trips up to Cormomandel City and the east cost. Just a few hours drive each day. The scenery in the area makes the drivning only a pleasure. I will definately stay there again.”

“We had a very pleasant stay. The receptionist was very friendly and informative. The cleaning was good. The views from 1 floor was wonderful. The sounds from the street traffic was less pleasant. Carpeted floors isn’t my favourite... And the room had seen better days, it was a bit outdated/worn. This is all about location! ”

“Lovely location with seaside within 1 min and a stream just next to our apartment. Loved the birds and sunset viewing. Minimal road noise in unit 5. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Newly renovated bathroom and toilet. Full kitchen appliances and shared BBQ facilities. It just lacks some cooking utensils: baking dish to use in the oven, big salad bowl and a cover for the frying pan.
