Couldnât fault the staff, they were very efficient , polite, friendly & helpful.

The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and canât wait to return â

However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! âThe hotel has been recently refurbished and so it is well presented. The staff work hard to maintain a high standard but they could do with more support during the busy periods. ie bank holidays etc.â
