“First impression driving into the parking lot was not good. It contained many broken down vehicles and some even sitting on blocks. Inside the lobby was fine and our room was clean, but very outdated. No blackout curtains and no hair dryer. Hallway smelled like weed and the breakfast is pre-packaged Honey Buns.”

“The rooms were supposedly non-smoking but had a stale smoke smell, especially on the third floor. There was no screen on our window even though we were able to open the window. There were loose tiles on the bathroom floor, so we needed to be careful not to injure ourselves. The light in the elevator area was out during our stay and others mentioned it had been out all weekend. Then there was the pool area; the chlorine and other chemicals were so strong I could not stand being in the pool area...

“We have stayed in other Hampton Inns during our -2 visits to Minneapolis. Hampton Eden Prairie had by far the most friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast offered more variety. Liked the electric blinds, liked all the bars available in tub/shower. We are in late 70’s in mid-80’s. Many excellent restaurants to choose from. Both the Wildfire and American Bar and Grill were our favorites. Newer Precore equipment in Gym. We will definitely stay their again.”

“The property is older and needs updating. It was farily clean, but my room had a faint odor of pet urine. I was also very disappointed that there was not coffee in the lobby until 6am. I only stay at Hampton Inn when I travel, and the coffee is always on and delicious by 5 am. This Hampton Inn does not compare to the rest. I most likely will not be back.”
