âThis hotel has ambitions to be a luxury hotel. It probably has been. But now the furniture and textiles are worn out, the flowers indoors has seen its best days, the supply in the small bar in the lobby is very bad. Birds were flying indoors eating from the buffe but no one seemed to bother. The pool had green algiers.
When I checked in at 4.30 pm (3 pm is the check in time) the room wasn't available. Suddenly they found a room but in a lower standard and gave it to me. But the staff in at the...
âGood value for money. Friendly staff. Nice room with view on sprongbocks and impalas. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pool not always clean. Good breakfast. We stayed 7 nights because you were outside the stress of Joburg and the surroundings are really enjoyable.â

Vi fick ha vĂ„ra vĂ€skor kvar hela dagen Ă€ven efter utcheckning och passade pĂ„ att ligga vid poolen pĂ„ grannhotellet dĂ€r vi Ă€ven duschade för 60zar. Frukosten var kanon!â
âStay was really nice, and I enjoyed the style of the place. Rooms are very spacious. A suggestion is to give better indication and directions of exactly where to locate reception. It was not very clear. I arrived late at night and it was dark already and could not locate reception for check in.â

OCH tidigt igĂ„r mirse nĂ€r solen precis hĂ„tt upp hörde jag lejonen ryta frĂ„n det stora Johannesburg Zoo sim ligger granne....
âTo me Afrique Boutique has this low key, down to earth, at home kind of feeling. During business travel perfect to have a calm and quiet place to go to in the evening.â
âWe made a one night stop here after a visit to Kruger and it was great. Helpful staff, good service and nice rooms. The hotel may not have many interesting things close to it bu there are always ubers nearby to take you to your desired destination. A great stay!â

"There was no running water in the entire hotel. We were told there was a water outage in the entire neighborhood. You would expect that a hotel such as Holiday Inn would have a reserve tank especially since water outages are not a novelty in Johannesburg.
We were told the hotel was providing complementary drinking water in our rooms and would also provide water for baths. In a family room for 4, there were two 330ml water bottles. Reception wasnt picking up calls from rooms. Overall, not what I expected from the hotel. I hope this was a one off and that they would normally handle all of this better. "
