Mountain House two hours north of Boston

Our lovely mountain house is nestled within the White Mountains National Forest of New Hampshire two hours north of Boston, Massachusetts and is perfect for getting away from big cities and exploring our cool mountains. As previous owners of an award winning bed and breakfast we know the importance of a well maintained, "guest ready" accommodation as well as being hosts who are knowledgable about the area. We live nearby so are readily available if you have any questions. Our mountain house has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, comfortable living room with gas fireplace, well equipped kitchen with beautiful granite countertops, two farmer's porches where you can relax with a glass of wine or a cup of tea listening to our (seasonal) brook.

Our home is located in a residential area within 15 to 30 minutes driving distance to all the natural attractions in the White Mountains such as the caves at Lost River Gorge, Franconia Notch State park, the Flume Gorge, Loon Mountain, Cannon Mountain with its aerial tramway, Waterville Valley ski area, Clark's Trading Post, just to name a few, as well as lots of good restaurants, micro-breweries, local theaters and of course all the hiking, canoeing, and kayaking your heart desires. We ourselves are avid outdoor enthusiasts and know the area very well so are glad to help you discover our beautiful region and to help you plan each day you spend here.
