âThe property is beautifully presented with some really thoughtful finishing touches for guests. The owner is extremely attentive in their communication.
The pub is literally a short stagger away though the property remains private and feels like a real little sanctuary.

We were a family of four adults and had two connecting rooms. The rooms had connecting doors which was great. We stayed one night on our way driving down south, so the large car park was helpful. We got the last room available, it was small but very comfortable.

âThis is a perfect hotell if you want to travel by train from St Davids station. Since we were staying for so long time as 11 days it would have been nice to have breakfast a little later than 7-9 every day. We had the room on top an since it was warm and no fresh condition we have to have the roof window open all time and then it became noisy with trains and barking dogs in the nights. Overall it was a very pleasant stay , nice staff and ofcourse a very good breakfastâ

I love the quirky old fashioned styling but it's done in a modern way.
The menu seemed basic but the quality of the food was fantastic everybody should try the prawns starter !!!

Coffee machine in room too small difficult to use.
The noise of extractor fans outside the windows was a constant drone but okay if you're used to noise and not from the quiet countryside.

âFun little hotel with high standard. The room was big with a nice and clean bathroom. Stairways are very narrow but that adds to the charm of the old building. There is a pub in the same building but no noise from that in the room.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there is pleny of nice breakfast places around.

âThe lobby, bar and restaurant have an elegant and timeless feel. I loved relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea and a book. The room was large but my air conditioner didnât work and the bed felt worn/old. I mentioned it to the desk and they put a mattress topper on the bed which really fixed the issue. The windows opened and in late August with the fan in the room - I was comfortable. The comfort of the rest of the hotel and the fantastic sauna, pool and hot tub made up for the bed and air...
âVery impressed. Although the room was a bit dated it was spotlessly clean. The garden and views are very impressive and the staff were helpful. Lovely buffet breakfast and the swimming pool area was very modern. We used it twice and had it to ourselves! I'd put it above 3 stars.â
âWe stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....

The staff was very forthcoming and the breakfast! For someone enjoying good English breakfast this was really good!
There could be some sound from downstairs during evenings but what could you expect when staying in a pub?!
One thing that would benefit more would to update the bathroom in the corridor. It's really in need of some TLC!
