“A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants.”

“The pictures don’t do this place justice! Super well kept- every detail was perfect and felt more like a nice hotel with vacation amenities. There was a great bus service to and from town, even though we chose to walk home a night or so. It had tons of info and flyers in the office. The staff cleaned and made up the rooms with details and bows each day, with fresh soap, shampoos, etc. Really great- we loved it. Definitely would recommend. We had the room with 3 queens and had 2 teens plus us...
