Initially it seemed like this place was going to be great. Check in was pretty smooth. Settled in and noticed the remote for the living room tv was not working. Called it in and then went out for dinner. Upon return, my key did not open the gate, no biggie, staff opened and reset my key. Go to my room and key still doesn’t work. Shortly staff fixed the issue. Return to the villa to find the tv itself is now not working. Made staff aware. She took the control to “get fixed” and said she’d return. An hour went by, nothing. Called the front office and they said, “oh yeah, we forgot. Be right there.” Gentleman comes in and says there’s no fixing the issue. Tells me as courtesy I can have a late check out. I mentioned I was leaving early. He returns with a new tv and makes the switch. Great.. now we can finally rest. But wait…. There’s more. Walk into the bedroom and nearly slip on a huge puddle of water. Look under the bed and it is completely wet. Called the front office to make them aware. Minutes later this man shows up to the villa handing me a mop. I kindly told him I did not drive 5 hours from home to mop the place, if they couldn’t make the place hospitable, I’d like a refund and I’d leave that very moment. He rudely said that’s up to me and he was just told to bring me a mop. Returned to say everyone has left so he guesses he’d have to do it. Came in with the worst attitude to mop the room and stormed out. Place sucks. Never again.
