Bella Vista is located in an area of Tijuana where access to the property is via unpaved, unmaintained cobble stone streets. These streets are poorly maintained with excessively large pot holes and lots of dirt. To get to the property we had to cross an unsafe, unlit and unpaved tunnel that crosses under the highway. The tunnel just barely fits one car and is dangerous to drive through. The bungalow we stayed at had uneven pavers outside in the patio area that are dangerously uneven and can easily cause a fall and injury for anyone. Also, we went in the winter and the bungalow had no heating. When the host was asked if a heater would be provided we were told to use the blankets in the bungalow. These didn’t provide sufficient warmth for the excessive cold in the home. Also, the interior was so cold that the walls of the property got covered in moisture from the cold. Literally, the walls were sweating. This made it especially dangerous because that moisture would drip on the floors, which are tiled, making the risk of slipping and falling extremely possible. The bathroom also had no counter space forcing us to leave our toiletries in our luggage which made it inconvenient for us when we showered. I will never return to this property because of the danger in getting there, the danger in walking on the outside of the property, and the discomfort of staying there.
