Close to beach, at the center of all attractions

Overall loved the location, beautiful view. I will stay here again. Stayed for 2 nights. Pros: location, beach access, check in staff very friendly, parking security very friendly and helpful. Very close to eateries, bars, clubs. If you want peace and quite and just want to relax this is not for you. Most of Rosarito is a party beach, a place to have fun, drink, listen to music, have a bon fire, and set some fireworks. A lot of vendors trying to sell you from peanuts to massages. Condominium was a 2 story 4 bedroom, 3 baths. If you dont have a bracelet, you cant enter the building. Very clean, lots of wear and tear. Beautiful view, easy beach access. Its not really for small children unless you stay on the first floor. We had a toddler, a 5 and 6 year old. Constantly keeping an eye on them not to get to close to windows or terrace. With windows closed you can hear the music from papa's and beer. We didnt mind at all, actullay liked the loud music and then the fireworks didnt mind it either. If you dont like noise, bring ear plugs. The kids stayed in the room on the street side didnt hear anything on that side. Kitchen and bathrooms, i brought extra toilet paper, towels, my own paper plates, cups etc. We went to a convenience store and bought some groceries to make breakfast, cut down the cost. Tv bad reception, but who wants to be stuck watching tv with the beach right outside. When you check out dont forget to ask for a fast pass. We crossed the border in 20 min.

The hotel was nice, clean and safe. I love the decoration! The view from the balcony was beautiful! The only bad side is that it is a lot of noise at night because of clubs :(

Super noisy

If you want to party all night long this is the place to stay since you will not be able to sleep. The condos are located next to the nightclubs and you can hear the super loud music up until four in the morning. We had our three year old daughter and she had a really hard time falling asleep with the thumping of the loud music.

Not honoring Expedia

It is a problem to check in to this hotel, too much wasted time (3hrs). Parking only for 1 car. Not good customer service from the reception staff. Not honoring Expidia advertisements, eg. Extra beds, no extra beds provided. Condo rented for 8 persons, staff stated it was just for 4

Nice Hotel Great Security

The room was nice, had a beautiful ocean view,spacious two bed floor plan. It's noisy at night from the club music so bring ear plugs. Security is tight in the parking lot making for a safer environment. I was upset that My guests were kicked out at 10 pm. I think they should extend their hours a bit, minimum 12 pm! You have to take your dirty towels all the way to the office to exchange for new ones (very inconvenient).I didn't deal with them much but the office staff was quite condescending ( one male in particular Despite all would stay there again. Hopefully these minor details improve.

Friend Birthday Getaway!

Great couples weekend getaway! My friend wanted to go for her birthday. We all had a great time in fact too much. Lots of food, drinks, and music was great. All the bars are walking distance which is great, no drinking an driving! Will definitely be back!

High School Reunion

It was very nice the only thing was that we had no way of communicating with the reception or room service there where no phones in the room and we had no toilet paper, paper towels, and those little details. Other than that it was very nice.

Check in time

Don't even think on arribing to the hotel before 3 pm! Nobody is welcomed before that time! The person at the office should handle this fact with better attitude.

Great hotel and location - just not full hotel

Was a bit confusing finding hotel, but we figured out you had to go to rental office first then they check you in and give you room instructions. Oceana is actually name of hotel tower, it is walking distance from office. One of the check in clerks was very rude, he was at left desk, very sarcastic and could not find our reservation, but other clerked helped. He was also rude at check out, but tolerable. Also we booked for two kings beds and got one kind and two doubles. Room was great though! Great view, great layout and great for multiple couples, was also walking distance from all downtown attractions, we loved it. Also was very clean, just a little mold in the standing shower, but everything else spotless. And the room has dishes and silver wear if you need them. Only disappointment was that the king bed was very hard mattress :( and there was only one extra pillow. Since it is more of a condominium/ hotel, wasn't sure if we could call office for more pillows. I would stay here again though, great location and great for big groups. Beware if you don't like to hear the club music of downtown at night, don't stay here, but we didn't mind.

Best hotel n view!

Given that ive been coming to Rosarito for over a decade, finally found the special one. Rented this condo last min and everything was loving and great. Clean and beautiful view. Definitely worth the extra bucks! From now on, this is the only one i will stay in. Staff are great, helpful, and trustworthy. They escorted us around the dark streets that surround the building to ensure our safety and even returned my friend's wallet the following day. Best thing, everything was in it. Very pleased and beyond satisfied.

Beautiful hotel by the beach.

I booked this room for my honeymoon. I loved it!! It was convenient close to the shops and restaurants as well as the beach. Not to mention its only 45 minutes from where I live. Definitely will make it my family vacation spot.

Nice hotel with an amazing view.

Had a blast staying here with all my friends. Booked the 3 bedroom condo and all 8 of us enjoyed our stay. Being right next to Papas & Beer it was super convenient when we went out in the night. Definitely staying here again on my next trip.

For the price this place was perfect for me and my friends. It is NOT upscale but it is clean enough. The comment about the music from the bar next door is VERY valid. If you have trouble sleeping through music, this is not the place for you.

Somehow disappointed

The hotel was well mainted, but inside was old. Also, sofa and cotton chair was dirt. I understand it would be hard to clean, but I felt bad about all the dirt. I couldn't understand why this hotel has such a high rate. Nonetheless, it is the ocean front and has ocean view. Location was great, though. I would say security guys were very friendly and nice while office staffs were just OK.

beautiful inside and out!

Stayed in the suites at the Ocena. They were beautiful. 2 bedroom, kitgcne and living room. Just walk out the back of the hotel and you're at the beach. Walk out the front and you're in the center of Rosarito with all sorts of clubs, shops and restaurants. Its also right next to the famous Papas and Beer :) which is good if you want to go clubbing and party but it can be bad at night time when it becomes difficult to sleep. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Great Vacation spot

Me & my family spent 2 nights here and we rented the european 2 bedroom. The rooms are very nice & clean as were all of the facilities, pool, hot tub, etc. I was really impressed with the size of the room and we felt very safe there. The only bad thing was when we got to our room there were only 2 king beds? Online it said 2 king beds and 2 twin beds? We went back to the office and said they would send 1 roll away bed, which they did. My Aunt had to sleep on the small couch. Other than that we had a great time at the Rosarito Inn.
