The Space:

Watch the ocean waves roll in from this gorgeously positioned hillside home in Oceanside, where you'll be treated to incredible views of the coastline and unforgettable nightly sunsets! Inside this charming space, you'll find an open living area with large windows, a well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable furnishings to make you feel at home. Kick back on the deck and soak in the view, light the private gas grill for a summer barbecue on the patio, and curl up on the couch as the fog rolls in in the evening.



This home is a short stroll from the heart of Oceanside, where you'll find several dining options and an access point to the beach. You'll also be just two miles north of Netarts and the beach at Happy Camp (where you can do a bit of crabbing right from the shore), and three miles south of the scenic Cape Meares Lighthouse. Tillamook is only nine miles inland, offering shopping, dining, and the famous Tillamook Creamery.

Refreshingly tasteful beach house

Of any mid-priced beach house we've rented, this was the best. Great views, great layout, well-equipped kitchen . . . But most of all great taste. No calabash sporting seafarer reliefs or faux nets and floats, no grandma print bedding, no sunset photos. Instead, balinese puppets, kachina dolls, weavings and even hand-carved columns. And they take dogs! Only downsides: the fireplace wasn't working and the 10 am checkout is kind of brutal. Vacasa offered late checkout for a price. Normal 11 am or noon would be more fitting to such a lovely place. Fabulous spot. We'll be back.

Family weekend

The property was in a pretty setting and the view was breathtaking .The house was a nice layout... 3 levels was nice... Some separation from family and noise. Loved the kitchen and long dining room table. The decor was different and carpets upstairs were severely stained.

The place was beautifully decorated with interesting things and art from around the world. The view of the ocean was amazing. Short walk to the beach with a cool tunnel. Fit our needs with family with kids. Highly recommended!

Family fair trip

There were 4 adults, 2 children and 1 infant. The home is set up perfectly for 2 families. Beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Deck off the upstairs is a wonderful place to relax. There are plenty of stairs into the property and it’s 3 levels in the home. You get your steps in. Parking is a little tricky but we worked it out with only 2 cars. We spent a day at the county fair. It was a wonderful family trip.

A great stay

We loved staying here. Yes, on first glance there are some spots that could be remedied with a deep clean or some investment in the property (the bathroom could use an upgrade investment to make the property that much more appealing) but overall, as we unpacked, we realized it is just a great house. Great kitchen, comfy beds, and of course the views and the deck, wow. Kitchen has everything you need except your own food! Also plenty of towels, beach towels, kites, you name it, you just make the 5 minute walk to the beach and enjoy. Had a great time, would return to Oceanside!

Just what we needed

We spent a rainy gray week here in December, but the views from the master bedroom, dining area, and living room are FABULOUS. Watching king tides come in made up for not being able to spend much time on the beach. The entire family was still working/schooling remotely so the house gave us enough separated space to do our work, and the internet was strong enough to handle it. Also, we loved the artwork and wood trim in the house, it's very special. We really like Oceanside so we'll be back, and to this house if it is available.

Relaxing Stay

Great little vacation for our family of 3 humans and Nemo the Labrador. The house has a with a cozy living room looking out over the beach above rooftops of nearby houses. Multiple balconies, although it was a little too cold to spend time sitting there too much. Well stocked library. Kitchen was well equipped; we grilled quite a bit. Be aware that the house is not quite on the beach, although its very close (a 5 minute walk). We didn't have cellular signal (AT&T), which caused a bit of a consternation when we got to the house late at night and had no way to look up the email with the entry code. A short drive away from the house brought us into cell range and problem was solved.

Great Port In a Storm

We happen to time our vacation with the largest wild fires that Oregon has ever seen. As such, smoke permeated much of the air and our vacation. Thanks goodness we had such a nice place to stay. We really enjoyed the house, the vibe of the neighborhood, and the beach. The house was quiet, clean, and even though we arrived when the power was out, the housekeeper had the sheets clean, place vacuumed, and ready to go. We would love to come back again when we can breathe the lovely ocean air!
