“Fantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived ”
“The staff was awesome and place was great. Views fantastic. Lots of hills to walk but worth the walk.
Must be European thing but no wash clothes in bathroom but none of my hotels have had them.
One downside is although there is off site parking it is a difficult parking lot.
Overall i was very pleased ”
“Very nice hotel catering to everyone. They have banquets in adjacent facilities, they have workers and business people, combined with older couples.
Great restaurant down stairs and a gym next door.
Rooms might starting to see some aging, but comfy beds and pillows and it is very nice and clean.
I will definitely be back.”
“This is definitely a beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly and down to earth, great welcoming when checking in.
I forgot my tablet when checking out and it was easy and convenient to pick it back up after work. They were very tentative and reached out to me quickly in this matter.
Rooms are old fashioned, but very nice and the beds are comfortable and you sleep great in them.

“We stayed one night in a family suite. The room was lovely and spacious with an absolutely ginormous bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the extra seating area. A couple small items - we were there when it was quite hot, and although the room was equipped with an AC unit that blew air, it never actually cooled off. To be fair, I didn't figure this out until the middle of the night, so I didn't report it til checkout. If you're not from Ireland, fair warning that hotels...
“Hotellet är nyrenoverat och fräscht och kombinerar modern utrustning med fin unik stil. Mycket fint poolområde med stor pool, bastu/ångbastu och jacuzzi.God frukost men aningen dyr (15 Euro). Tillräcklig med gratis parkering på hotellområdet. Gångavståndet till stan trodde vi var kortare, det tog en bra stund att komma ner (och tillbaka uppför backen) och rekommenderas ej för barnfamiljer - använd hellre bil... Hotellet prisas för sin fina utsikt över Cork (finns att njuta från restaurangen),...

It was excellent location,the friendly staff at the reception let me check in early and gave me a quiet room with a bath. really nice breakfast and restauranf. the only think was that they had a added a breakfast for two on my roomservice bill but theysorted it out with no hazzle at all. gave me good advice on what to do and see”

"Bra boende. Opersonligt. Rent och skön säng. Väldigt bra restaurang med många smårätter att välja på, fast det var större portioner än man trott."
"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they can’t do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. It’s absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath one’s back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
The Dean Cork is all “style” but no substance. "
