Great!
The house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 teenagers with beds to spare. Great view from the deck, and a very quiet neighborhood. El Gigante was a short drive and is the kind of non touristy village we were looking for. Loved it.

Comfortable house and outstanding customer service!
The house is in good shape and all the staff made our stay felt so easy. There were a few things that could probably use fixing, for example, the lighting in some of the rooms was too dim, the oven doesn’t work (they offered to replace it, but we decided not to deal with that for the moment. I still think they should replace the oven regardless for future customers), some hammocks and chairs were broken (I’d just get rid of those), and finally some knifes were just not sharp. I’d give it a 5 if it were not for these hiccups. The staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable! Danilo, Orestes, Grace, Allison, Juan, you guys are the real MVPs!

Dream location
Very thankful to the Lord for helping us find this hidden gem. We enjoyed every minute in the home. The only afvise would be updates. Shower heads not working properly, lighting around the home. Very dark and some fixtures are not working properly. We are really thankful for mr. Daniel ( pool maintenance) he went far and beyond to make out stay pleasant. He showed us around and was always ready to help with amything. May the Lord Bless this home and the family. Lord willing we will be back soon... thank you

Very nice place close to Aqua resort with a awesome view
The property is perfect for big group or family cuz it has many rooms and beds but needs a little more maintaince however the property manager, Graciela was amazing very helpful and responsible. She was quick and attentive to our needs

Would not recommend
House is in need of upgrades, very dirty. It seems like the people that take care of the house are not doing their job. The house needs a lot of repairs. Would never rent this property again nor I would never recommend anyone to stay there. Not satisfied at all. If the owners of this property see this feedback feel free to call me I can give you more details and pictures I took. Property manager sucks.

a Magical Treehouse beach adventure
Fantastic memories created for a BFF holiday with 3 families, 2 flew all the way from Canada! We loved our adventures on the various beaches in the Tola area, especially the tranquil Redonda Bay just a short walk of about 1km with beach bar and 2X1 happy hour drinks from 4-6pm. Some of our group did surfing lessons on Popoyo, others loved long beach walks on Giganta, Amarillo, Iguana, Colorado and Perro. Everyone loved the INCREDIBLE sunsets everynight no matter which beach. Mag Rock cafe also offered fantabulous views. As far as the property: Pros- -space was great with 2 balconies. -Dorm bedroom with 3 beds and trundles fit our needs well since we had 8 "kids" aged 18-25 between the 3 families. -ACs in all bedrooms worked well . The casita one broke after the first day and Grace the property manager got that fixed with the NEW UNIT the same day (she is fantastic and responsive) -infinity pool amongst the trees was a nice respite from heat and sun -6 hammocks so lots could have their quiet time -lots of paper products and cleaning fluids provided -plenty of towels and beach/pool towels -good quality furniture and mattresses -pool cleaned every morning -great rocking chairs and chaise lounges -3 sets of new snorkels and masks -2 coolers CONS -the house is starting to show age and wear and tear with the heat/humidity taking its toll on some aspects of the building (inside and out) It could use painting in places and the wood floors needed a MAJOR cleaning (they were filthy and in literally 3 mins ALL of us had black grimy feet so we got the cleaner in our first morning to do floors ) - only 1 laundry machine for 14 people meant that sheets were not all done for our arrival and beds not made (and we arrived to a load in the washing machine, a load of damp sheets waiting for the dryer and a load still needing another hour in the dryer -some of the kitchen cooking items are now showing age and needing to be replaced (especially the clear acrylic wine glasses) additional food notes: -We had one typical Nica lunch and dinner prepared and it was tonnes of food which lasted 2 days! -We went to Aqua Resort for New Years Eve and felt totally ripped off. They lost our reservation and scrambled to get us a table for 14 and food. We should have just gone to Blue Sol in Gigante as the food there was great and it was 1/3 the price. Overall we all REALLY enjoyed our time at the Magical Treehouse!

Best Hideaway Vacation
Thank you for letting us stay at your place for our Honeymoon. It was the perfect location and had everything we needed to relax and rejuvenate after our wedding. Thank you so much for renting this place out to people... anyone who stays there is truly lucky. Cannot wait to return to Buccaneer Point again!

Always an incredible stay!
If you are considering this property for your next vacation, I recommend it whole heartedly! We have stayed here for many years in a row and the house only gets better. It's very private, yet walking distance to the restaurant and beach at Aqua Wellness Resort. The pool is always the perfect temperature and the monkeys even came to visit us in the trees this time! The house manager and staff are very responsive and always available to help you with anything you need. Thank you again for another wonderful visit!

Muy buenas vacaciones familiares
El lugar apto para pasar vacaciones en familia. La casa es muy bonita, está muy bien equipada, y la playa es practicamente privada (hay qyue caminar escasos 800 mts metros) La atención del dueño es rápida y servicial. Punto de mejora. Si va con niños es importante estar siempre con ellos en la pisicina. Hace falta una baranda de seguridad en alguna parte de la terraza. A parte de esto, recomiendo el lugar. De parte de mi familia, ya quieren repetir la estadía en la casa.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Experience
This was a great home, perhaps the nicest home of all the places we have stayed in Nicaragua. The staff was great and very helpful. The house had lots of space, the kids room was a huge plus. Each room had its own bathroom which was a nice amenity. The pool was very nice and well kept! The kitchen was great and fully stocked with the needed pots and pans. Also the cost included everything, there was no hidden electrical fees and purified water was include. There was also a breeze 24 hours a day so opening up the house was awesome. The house had amazing views but the time of year (January) we were there you actually could not see the sun setting because of the amazing cliffs, one trade for another but worth mentioning. Also the beach is more than i would consider a "short walk". There and back is over half a mile according to the health app on our phones on a pretty steep path. The house sits on a cliff and you must get to the beach at sea level so it makes sense and the walk is beautiful but not our definition of short so just be prepared, if you forget something most wouldn't just run back to grab it. The house sits on Redonda Bay which has a resort on site so there is access to food, kayak and paddle boards. This means there are more tourists / gringos... which means many speak English and you have the amenities which come with tourism available... if however you are like us an often travel more local, like to walk to local puleperrias and local towns that is not really an option here. The beach and bay was amazing, totally different at high tide and low tide. The bay has a significant number of rocks and was at time crystal clear great for exploring and snorkling. At high tide the waves were perfect for the kids to play in. There were rocks of to the north where you could climb and explore and catch crabs and stack rocks. Early one morning while we were there I was on the main deck of the house with my coffee and bible when a rain storm moved through and as it did the rising sun created a beautiful rainbow right into the bay! All in all it is a great place unique in its own way! Great to see that portion of Nicaragua for the first time!

This place is pure magic!
This was our fourth stay at this spectacular property. The home accommodated our group of ten people, perfectly. The restaurant and beach are a short walk away but it's nice to return to the privacy that this home offers. The views, location and ambiance simply cannot be beat. The booking and contact with the owner and local manager were seamless. The security of the community is also top notch. I can confidently recommend this property to you without hesitation! Thank you to the Glastris family for another wonderful experience.

Amazing Place!
This is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The house was beautiful and very accommodating. The only note I would make is that the walk down to the house is a bit steep and the railings are wide open underneath and not too safe for little kids. The snorkeling around the bay is really cool too. We saw lots of colorful fish, urchins, and rays.
