Everything was an original item from the 70s, including the bed, coat hanger, chair, etc. The room was lovely decorated with the theme, and the best thing was the bathroom. âWe stayed here for just one night whilst we were visiting friends in Herne Bay and we will stay again! It was so convenient, there was parking around the back, and the hosts were lovely. We stayed in Room 3 which was massive! It had a little lounge area, a lovely bathroom and the bedroom area was big as well with plenty of room to get ready. There was also a fan in the room which was appreciated! Breakfast was lovely and the choice was really good. We canât recommend this place enough. â
âWe arrived at 8.15pm and were worried we were too late to eat, bu we received a very warm welcome from a lovely young lady with long blonde hair, who told us that despite our lateness, we could check in before eating. We decided to eat straight away.
The food was delicious. I had ham and leek pie with buttery mash and cabbage and my husband had ham hock, egg and hash brown chips.

âSpent two nights in the Bell Hotel before the rest of my golfing buddies arrived for gold at the Princess and Royal S:t George. Great hotel with excellent location in the centre of Sandwich with walking distance to literally everything. You find a pub or restaurant just around any corner basically with an individual style and atmosphere. A place I will revisit again ! â
âLoved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. âAnother nice stay, although only one night. Staff really friendly and helpful, especially the young man who checked us in and lady who took our order at breakfast.
Room clean and comfortable with lovely view of pier and beach. Hospitality tray with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits.
