“The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay. The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm. Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony). Will...

“Lovely and helpful staff. 💖 Clean sheets, working AC and fridge upon arrival. Shower is sun heated and was actually hot even in the morning. Walking distance (5min) to town. The only backlash was that the TV was broken, but who need one when in Tonga. 😁 Since we arrived after 5 PM, (between closing and arrival of night wathman) would it have been nice to know the room number in advanced. P.S. Practical to buy a Tongan SIM-sim at the airport after arrival”

“A very basic hotel in Nuku'alofa, Tonga. No frills whatsoever, but extremely kind staff. They can arrange airport pickup or/and a tour around the island. Walking distance from the city center.”

“The room was very large, and cozy, with kichen space with dinning table next to a living area where you can sit and contemplate the beautiful sunrise. The nanager of the sky lodge, was very attentive and kind. He made us a reservation to see a beautiful dance show. My advice is to make a reservation with him. We had a wonderful time but it is better to be safe than sorry.”
