“The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay. The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm. Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony). Will...

“The room was very large, and cozy, with kichen space with dinning table next to a living area where you can sit and contemplate the beautiful sunrise. The nanager of the sky lodge, was very attentive and kind. He made us a reservation to see a beautiful dance show. My advice is to make a reservation with him. We had a wonderful time but it is better to be safe than sorry.”

“The Tanoa was an amazing hotel to stay at. The staff there were the best we experienced in our 5 different stays on this trip - so helpful, happy and accommodating. The breakfast included was second to none. The only downside was the pool closing early and the parking in the back of the hotel - the road in needs repair.”

“I was visiting a friend volunteering for the Peace Corps just down the road so my location was critical. Was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the White Sands resort. My room was well apportioned and very clean. It looked out through palms to a beautiful white sand beach and ocean. They even strung a hammock just outside my door which made for excellent down time. “I didn't get what I expected in booking a deluxe king room. The air condition didn't work, the TV didn't work, cupboards were broken, there was no mini bar stock in the fridge, no tea/coffee supplies, only the kettle. We were moved to a standard room and still the air con didn't work. The towels were not replenish the whole time we were there.”
