Beautiful Mountain Lakefront Home Lake Nantahala, North Carolina, USA

Our 5 Bedroom lakefront home is situated on Beautiful and Clean Lake Nantahala at 3000 feet above sea Level. We offer four king bedrooms, 1 large Bunk Room with 6 Twins All Newly Remodeled bathrooms and Kitchen with Wine cooler. Cozy Living with Fireplace, Satellite TV and Fast Wireless internet. Enjoy the private dock, large basement with TV/game area and ping pong, screen porch, Deck with grill, and picnic table. Two canoes are included for exploring the lake.
The Lake is COOL and CLEAN.

Lake Nantahala is a pristine gem surrounded by the Nantahala mountains and national forest. Our house is very spacious with room to spread out ,,, huge open basement with second living room area plus additional room with ping pong table. Expansive decking facing the lake for multi level viewing
We have amazing views of the lake and mountains , direct lake access and private dock for our guest usage . Nantahala Lake is pristine and great for swimming and boating - peaceful and secluded, not a lot of commercial activity

All of the house is for the guest private usage
We also offer usage of our 2 canoes and Boat rental if you are an experienced Boater and sign an indemnity agreement!

We have local cleaning crew and caretaker that can handle emergency needs if needed.

There is no public transportation nearby

Bathrooms have been completely renovated and upgrade in March 2021...new vanities, Tile floors and Tile showers... bedrooms have been upgraded and new wood look vinyl laminate installed to keep that rustic vibe...New whirlpool Fridge in the Kitchen, Backup fridge in the Basement laundry area and new granite kitchen Countertops ! Second Laundry area added upstairs for use of access to the kids bunk room... (6 Twins) ....Gas grill and charcoal grill are both available on the Lake Side Deck....pls make sure you have some charcoal as the owner stock can be depleted by prior rental guests...

Incredible stay over Labor Day weekend. Two families stayed with 8 people. Plenty of room. This house is very well appointed. The views are incredible. The walk down to the dock was not overwhelming. We had an awesome time. Two giant TV so the guys could watch football and the girls watched what we wanted downstairs. All kinds of activities available. The house was just perfect for us. We would love to go back again.

Awesome home and view of lake!

We had an awesome time! The house is beautiful! The views from the house are amazing. We have stayed on lake many times and this drive to the house was not hard as some we have stayed in. Mike was very responsive to our needs. Would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful home. The kitchen was well stocked for anything you need for cooking!

Great Stay

This house was beautiful and well stocked with all the things we could need, especially in the kitchen. Very clean, and communication with owner was very easy. We have already begun recommending it to people we know, this place is great for a multi family get together.

Great Getaway-Nantahala

The place was beautiful and very spacious! The road to get there is not for the faint of heart. Be prepared for the curvy roads and the very narrow driveway to get to the house. We recommend experienced drivers drive the route if you are coming in the dark, but the place was amazing, beautiful location and worth every penny.

Relax at Driftwood Cove

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property! It was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept great. We rented a pontoon at Lakes End Marine which is about 20 minutes away. Nantahala Lake was beautiful! The property is a bit far from any grocery store so make sure you have the provisions you need for a few days before having to head into town to restock. We highly recommend this property.

Awesome Cabin & Lake vacation

Such a wonderful cabin with a breathtaking view! You will enjoy every minute while your there! Our family had such much fun and made so many memories. All of our questions were answered by the owner very quickly. You will love being here! We did! Hope to be be back soon!

10 out of 10!!!

Being a frequent traveller I can tell you that our experience was amazing. Prior to our arrival Mike was very communicative. We are veterans of the lake, but for a first timer that would be extremely important. The home itself well exceeded the advertisement. The house was very clean with nothing out of place when we arrived. The views of the lake, especially at sunset were awesome. I would strongly reccomend this property and we will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful lake location

We had a wonderful time at the property. The owner knew we were arriving late in the evening and had the home lit up for our arrival. The home is really well appointed with great bedding, towels, and household supplies. There were a few improvements underway during our stay, but nothing that impacted our ability to enjoy the property. The home has plenty of space, comfy nooks, and amazing lake access. The neighborhood is lovely and gated so walking was easy and safe around the community. Mike the property owner was so helpful and communicative. He was engaged to ensure we had what we needed and that our stay was excellent. We really felt he was opening his home to us. We stayed over Memorial Day week/weekend and had no issues with noise, or excessive boat traffic. Just a perfect spot for lakeside and hiking fun. We look forward to returning next year!
