“Spititual and interesring trip where we learned a lot about the specific Kukai buddhist religion, went on the cementary night tour and visited a lot of the temples. We joined the morning and afternoon meditations and everything was great - only the western turists were being unpolite and disrespectful in these ceremonies. The munks who are in charge of the whole hotel are really nice and helpful. Food was delicious! ”

“We could wright that this is an authentic special experience like so many others, but to be honest it's not that special in comparison with other more authentic ryokan and minshuku throughout Japan. “Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!”

"Our room was very spacious with a pre room with sofa and TV. Nice bathroom with full sized bath tub and a spacious bedroom with a nice view of bay and town. Service was good, my charger broke and they provided me with one, I asked if i could checkout 1h later, no problem."
