I wish I had seen the review from the guest in December prior to booking this property. Sadly, we experienced the very same issues. We came to Brampton to work on a volunteer construction project and were excited to find a home with a garage, especially with the frigid temperatures. This home was a beautiful property, in it’s day. Unfortunately, it has not been well maintained. The garage had several garbage bags stacked up when we arrived. I spent the first day cleaning, as I found dog and human hair in the bedding, mold and personal items in the bathroom. (I even found the baggage tag of the previous tenants). On a positive note, they have all the cleaning products on site and there is a dishwasher, and a washer and dryer, so I was able to clean the floors, walls and wash all the bedding when we arrived and leave the home cleaner when we left.Much like the other review, the furnace was malfunctioning during our stay and we woke up more than one morning without any heat. We were given some tricks to try to re-set the furnace, but the malfunction continued and the furnace continued to turned off. After a few days they dropped off a couple space heaters, but we still chose to leave a day early and asked for a day's refund, because we didn’t feel safe staying. We took video footage of the property when we left, and am I ever glad we did, as we just received a ridiculous bill for charges for something that they claim we damaged. We will be disputing the charges.
