“We had a great stay in one of the apartments. The atmosphere felt genuine and the personnel was very friendly. Breakfast (Italian style) was served at the premises, for lunch/dinner a car is needed to reach most restaurants in the area. Enjoyed a wine tasting with some of their self-produced wines. “We had initially planned to stay at Locanda Poggioleone for three days but we ended up staying for a whole week because we loved it so much. The hotel is located a short drive from Castiglione Del Lago with a great view over lake Trasimeno. The hotel staff is very friendly and hospitable, the pool area is very nice and the rooms are nice & clean. Will definately come back to this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.”
