“We got upgraded and the room was fanastic and rustic. friendly straff, environment and service was great. The only complain we have is the more simple restaurant, La Cantina, that didn't live up to any italian culinary experience at all. The food we had was very tasteless and lacked sign of creativity and the wine the served us was waaay to warm. My husband is a sommelier himself and we have visited several fine dining restaurants over the world and have to say that we expected more from this...

Servicen på övrig personal kunde ha varit bättre, det skulle inte skada med ett leende tex.
Frukosten var under all kritik. Frukost erbjöds fram till 10.30, men när vi kom dit kl 9 hade de slutat att fylla på med mat.
Rummet som vi hade bokat skulle enligt informationen på hotels.com vara 18m2, men vi fick ett rum som var 14m2.
Samtliga rum på hotellet stank fotsvett.
Luftkonditioneringen fungerade inte...

“This is a great accommodation. Room is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our room was above the Bistro which was great for a glass of wine at the end of the day and coffee and breakfast in the morning. Visit the Brolio Castle for great valley views. Wine tasting at Ricasoli is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Finally Osteria Brolio the on site restaurant is worth trying good food well prepared. Overall very positive experience highly recommend you visit and stay.”

“Spent a couple of days at Borgo Grondaie and had a lovely time. Good service and the location was perfect for sightseeing in Siena while still being secluded enough to be able to enjoy the amenities and the beautiful atmosphere at Borgo Grondaie.”

Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon.”

"If you’re looking for something special this is it! Very nice hotel, rooms of high standard, typical italian stonehouse, surrounded by vineyards. Breathtaking views. Pool a few steps away. Excellent service by Giovanni, manager.
The only downside: It would have been nice with a restaurant beside the breakfast.
