Valentina at the front desk was fantastic. She was super welcoming, gave us updates on weather and went above and beyond on answering questions. I had a question earlier in the morning that she did not know the answer to. Most people would have just let it go. Valentina got the answer for me later that morning and sent it to me via Whats App!
The hotel serves breakfast and dinner, but not lunch. That was ok since we were out in the middle of the day.
My only complaint was the wi-fi. It worked fine in the main building, but our room was at the far end of the hotel, so we could not get a signal. They have an upstairs lounge above the front desk with couches you could sit at and get a good wi-fi signal. But it almost always had people. Plus we like to be in the comfort of our own room. I’m not sure if this is the practice for all hotels in the area or just the limit of the types of routers available around here, because our hotel in Puerto Natales had the same issue. Seems that if you know you are in a region with very spotty to no cell signal, you could invest in a more robust wi-fi system. I did read that a lot of hotels/refugios have the same issue.
Other than that, hotel was comfortable and clean. Heaters worked very well. You can see the Horns from the hotel which was cool.
