🏘URBANIZATION🏘

📍Cala Salionç is a private urbanization located between Tossa de Mar and Sant Feliu de Guíxols. It is highly recommended to have your own car, but you can always take a taxi from Tossa de Mar to get here. There is also a small free bus from Tossa during the summer (July-August).

🏖 The private beach🏖

Due to its characteristics, it is considered a cove. The beach has coarse sand and even in August it is not very crowded compared to other beaches in the area.

🏐There is a volleyball court on the beach for those who want to work up a sweat before swimming. If you are a volleyball fan or if you want to start a new hobby, don't forget to bring your volleyball.

🥅 There is also a small beach soccer field. It is small because it is ideal for 6 players and it is also small because it is mainly used by small children. If you really need some time off from your children, a soccer ball is a must.

🚣‍♂️If you love paddling, there is the option of renting a kayak or a paddle surf board. Ask the beach yacht club for availability.

👣 On the left side of the beach, facing the sea, there is a beautiful stone path. It's a 5-minute walk. Don't miss it.

👣The Camí de Ronda is a trail along the entire Costa Brava with spectacular sea views. It was built in the 19th century to control the coast and smuggling. The closest one starts in Cala Pola and ends in Lloret, taking you first to Tossa. Don't miss it if you're a hiking fan. Medium difficulty

🚗GETAWAYS🚗

If you come by car, there are very interesting day trips:

🏰Tossa de Mar: It is about 8 km from Cala Salionç. The wonderful castle and the old town within the castle walls are a must-see. We recommend that you have a delicious paella at a really cheap price at the Bahia restaurant or a traditional vermouth and tapas at the Vermuteria Nuria. Another good option is the Mestra d'Aixa restaurant, where you can order everything from delicious fish to stone-oven pizzas. It's best to book a table in advance at all of them.

🏛Girona: If you've seen Game of Thrones you'll recognize some of the locations from the series. Don't miss the cathedral and the old town. It's an hour's drive from Cala Salionç.

🥚Figueres: giant eggs in a building? This is the Dalí museum and where he was buried. Yes, he was buried in his own museum. Pure surrealism. Good choice even with children. Figueres also has the Toy Museum of Catalonia. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes by car from Cala Salionç.

🏟Barcelona: if you like architecture, don't miss the main modernist buildings such as La Sagrada Família or La Pedrera. Walking along Las Ramblas or visiting Camp Nou for football fans are other options. Although if you read the comment in Catalan, you probably already know all this... The city is approximately 1h30 minutes away by car.
