Denna hytt i norrskogen byggdes i '54 och har sett mÄnga uppdateringar genom Ären. De ursprungliga knutna tallgolv och tak Àr fortfarande lika varmt kÀnsla idag som de var nÀr den byggdes. En stor handgjord sten spis Àr mitt i vardagsrummet dÀr du ocksÄ hittar en 42 "TV med Netflix, Youtube TV (ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC, etc.) och en stor filmsamling. I köket hittar du allt du behöver för matlagning, inklusive kaffebryggare, kastruller, kokkÀrl, redskap, disk och grill.

Det finns tre sovrum. Lakeview sovrummet har en queen size-sÀng och de andra tvÄ bÄda har full size sÀngar. Dessutom har vardagsrummet en drottning storlek dra ut futon och en full storlek dra ut futon. Totalt stugan kan sova 10 personer, men grupper om 8 eller mindre kommer att finna det som mest bekvÀmt.

Vi har fyra 60 fot hamnar som delas mellan vÄra tre stugor. För sena sÀsongen musky fiskare lÀmnar vi minst en brygga in till 30 november senare om vÀdret tillÄter. Det finns 20 amp power pÄ bryggorna. Det finns nÄgra trappor för att komma ner till sjösstaten, men en gÄng dÀr hittar du en sandstrand och strandpromenad.

Barn Àlskar den stora gÄrden bakom stugan dÀr du hittar gott om plats för pickup-spel i fotboll och baseball. TrÀd och skogar pÄ resten av partiet ger nÀstan obegrÀnsade platser för utforskning och lekgömning. Om det inte rÀcker finns det en ATV / snöskoter / vandringsled som gÄr parallellt med vÄr vÀg och dÀrifrÄn kan du fÄ nÀstan var som helst i omrÄdet.

Det finns en utomhus eldstad vid stugan och ved tillhandahÄlls. Det Àr hyresgÀstens ansvar att kontrollera MN DNRs webbplats för brandfare och brinnande restriktioner före anvÀndning av utomhusbrandstaden. Vi kan inte lÀnka till webbplatsen hÀr pÄ grund av VRBO regler, men om du söker google för "mn DNR brandbegrÀnsningar" blir det den första lÀnken som kommer upp.

Great place to stay on Vermillion

My group and I stayed here for a fishing tournament on Vermillion. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even joined us by the fire one night. Great location too!

Awesome Surprise After A Long Drive

You really never know what to expect. After a 12 hr drive, this cabin was perfect! We are retired & travel with our 2 yr old Newfoundland. Location was beautiful & the lake made a tranquil setting. Having a dog friendly restaurant in walking distance was super convenient. We’ve been coming up to the Iron Range for years. Family getaway

It had everything. The owners were great. It had an awesome water access with water activities. It was walking distance from a bar restaurant. It had several fire pits for getting to know some of the other guests and a large grassy area to play yard games. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would consider staying there again.

Family getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay! The hosts Ron and Denise could not have been kinder. They answered all questions and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was hassle free. The cabin had everything we needed and along with the close proximity to a boat launch we were able to fish to our hearts content. Cozy quiet cabin

This small cabin was perfect for me, my wife and our Labradors. We traveled to Ely almost daily for various adventures, rented a snowmobile a few miles away, exercised our dogs on the frozen lake and enjoyed our evenings with a fire. It is what I would call a camp but that suits me just fine. The hosts are available next door if you need them. Everything worked and was clean. I would stay here again.

Snowmobile Trip Stay

Cozy and Wonderful Northwoods Trip

We booked with Roy and Deneise for our family guys getaway for fishing, enjoying the lake, and outdoors. Both Roy and Deneise welcomed us like we were family and we had a great stay. Great fishing off the dock and the cabin itself was perfect for us. The owners were very responsive to getting the water heater back up and running and they took care of it when we went out for dinner. There was plenty of firewood and we enjoyed a couple of lakeview fires. The proximity to Vermillion access was convenient. We would encourage any group going to Vermillion to check out Roy and Deneise's place!

We will be back! Great trip!

We couldn't have asked for a better trip to Minnesota. Roy and Denise were the most hospitable hosts. The fireside cabin was perfect for us. It gave us a place to eat, use the restroom and sleep. By no means is it anything fancy, but it's just all you need. It's incredibly quaint and very home-y feeling. We were able to put up a pack-n-play in the front bedroom, so know that is possible if needed! If you need anything at all contact Roy and Denise. They will do anything they can to get you what you need. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for making our first trip so memorable!

Cozy cabin on a beautiful lake

We really enjoyed our stay, cabin met all of our needs. I enjoyed having a dock to tie the boat to, with access of power. This came in handy with as much I needed the Trolling motor. Fishing was tough but we managed to finally find them after some searching. Owners are very friendly great communication with us from the start. We would definitely stay here again and we will be recommending it others.

Peaceful and Cozy

I rented the cabin for my 3 kids and myself and it was more than enough space for us, even with my brother and parents dropping in for a night or two. It was very clean and cozy and furnished with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Denise and Roy are so accommodating and friendly. We hope to visit again next summer!

Awesome place with awesome owners.

We had such a great time. The kids asked to make this an annual trip after the first day! Denise and Roy were amazing and made us feel like old friends. We loved Buddy and Otto, but we love dogs. The fishing was great. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. It came stocked with all we needed. The views were great. We are a young, energetic group and didn't mind the steps down to the beach. The beach was small, but great for our youngest. We hope to come back and stay again.

Magnificent lake views

Magnificent lake views from cabin with convenient boat docks and beach a staircase away. Great bonfire pit with lots of split wood and a bar and grill just a short walk away from the cabin. The caretakers were welcoming and helpful. We would return for fishing, pet friendly lake life.

Greatest Trip Ever

What a relaxing trip! If you want the true UpNorth experience, this is it, bonus without all the work. The communication with the owners was great. Vermilion is such a pretty lake and our cabin was overlooking the lake through the old birch trees and towering red pines. The view was beautiful and the sunsets, breathtaking. The cabin was perfect. The knotty pine finish takes me back to memories of our family vacations up north as a child. It had a full bath and kitchen with 3 bedrooms and an open living and dining area with a big picture window looking at the lake. All the windows had new upgrades and they kept the timeless charm of this cabin by keeping the cool old windows in the kitchen. Denise and Roy, the owners, have everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. They made sure everything was fully furnished and stocked, this included all the firewood you could possibly want for the beautiful hand made old stone fireplace and the firepit and trust me we had that going all the time. Oh and did I mention the free wifi, super important with 2 teenage boys that have to Bluetooth and streamline music. We can't wait to come back when the lake is open so we can do some boating and canoeing. The boys even asked Roy if he would take them fishing and he was so nice and told them, absolutely, anytime. The owners were so friendly and accommodating and lived next door so it was nice to have them so close. It was like having our own personal tour guides. They had wonderful recommendations on where to go for other fun activities when everything opens back up. Definitely will be making this an annual trip and there is so much space and other rental options on their property that we will be bringing our friends next time because this truly is the UpNorth vacation destination for us.

Visit cut short

The picture shown on this site is not the one you get at this cabin, this is a deck off of the owners property. This cabin is in great dire need of rehab. Floors bellow when you walk on them, deck is in need of some real fixing, your cabin view of the lake is obscured by trees in front of the bedroom window. Some of the rooms had a bad odor and it's not as private as the pictures appear. More like a camp site.. The stairs to the lake are in front of the owners cabin and are very, very steep to reach the water. The docks need help also, sway when walking on them. The owners were nice, but this was a lot of money for this cabin and it wasn't even on the water. They have Roku TV, WIFI wasn't the greatest, couldn't even get a signal to make a phone call. I will not be returning to this place soon.
