“Beautiful resort, great food, and it’s delightful to be right on the beach. Unfortunately the room isn’t designed well. The bathroom looks beautiful, but using the tub wasn’t possible due to mosquitoes. Further, the door between the toilet and tub is a glass shower door, so the exterior door and its tall threshold is between the toilet and the bed, so anyone who needs the toilet in the middle of the night has to fumble with the key and chain and risk tripping over the threshold. “Stayed mid may. Roof bar only open on weekends. The convenience store is stocked but closed, we had to stay in a separate building away from the main hotel, which I didn't love in the humidity and rain. The whole place has air of being partially closed down. Pool bar is soulless, beed carpaccio was just sliced steak. Cockroaches in the bedroom, room was seriously hot when we got there. I think the place has potential but the owners need to try harder . Staff were very nice and helpful.”

“Beautiful, peaceful resort for a good price. No one was at reception when we arrived and we didn't get the cold welcome drink we'd been promised. Some of the items on the breakfast menu were missing and my 'cereal and yoghurt' bowl was a bit disappointing - a small bowl of oats with a few cashews and chocolate buttons and a glass of milk. “The rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is large and laid out in a forest setting with covered raised open air walkways. There were bikes you could ride from your room to the very large pool area, We took kayaks down the small river behind the resort and it was like a jungle river trip with huge trees and lush forest all around.
