âStayed there between summer and ski season. Excellent value. Not particularly crowded. Easy drive to lakeside on the quieter north side. Staff helpful and friendly. At the foot of the ski runs literally at the base of the mountains. And on the edge of a great golf course.

âThe most unforgettable part of staying here is the stunning natural beauty all around you. The mountains and green trees feel like a postcard come to life. A highlight was the Tram, just a 5â10 minute walk from the hotel, that takes you up to the historic Olympic station from the 1960 Winter Olympics. My check in time was very close to the time that the wedding ceremony started, so I was a bit nervous that I was going to be scrambling and possibly late to the ceremony.
