Second great stay here.

This was my husband and my second stay in this wonderful home. Once again we loved every minute. The property is in a great location with fantastic views from the courtyard. The owner Moreno and his mother were wonderful hosts. On our first night there Moreno’s mother stopped by with a bag of fresh roasted chestnuts, so delicious. We highly recommend staying here if you want to experience real Italy and get away from the very touristy areas while still being close enough to visit Pompei and the Amalfi coast. We highly recommend morning walks into town for fresh bread and a stop by the Spirit coffee stand for a delicious caffe or cappuccino. This will be a regular stop for us when visiting Italy!!!

Quel endroit idéal !

Moreno et sa maman sont des hôtes particulièrement accueillants et gentils. Entre les recommandations des visites aux alentours, les petites attentions à l'accueil et l'aide sur place en cas de soucis, ce fut un vrai plaisir. L'appartement est très propre et bien équipé. Il est très bien situé pour visiter Naples, Pompéi et la côté Almafitaine. Un endroit à recommander ! Florence

De accommodatie is supernetjes en ligt in een rustige prachtige omgeving in de bergen. Moreno en zijn moeder Elvira doen alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Basisbenodigdheden als olie, zout enz zijn aanwezigheid en Elvira verrast je met lekker fruit en verse eitjes. Een dingetje: als je langer dan 1.85 m bent, pas je niet rechtop in de douche.

Wohnung mit italienischem Flair

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung von Moreno. Die Kommunikation war super nett, sehr hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung liegt inmitten des kleinen Ortes Tramonti-Pietre und man erlebt echtes italienisches Flair umgeben von Einheimischen. Für einen reinen Badeurlaub ist man vermutlich nicht am richtigen Ort, da zumindest in der Saison die kleinen Strände sehr voll sind und es so gut wie keine Parkplätze gibt. Wir sind einige Male mit dem Bus zum Strand gefahren. Zum Erkunden der Gegend (Ravello, Neapel, Vesuv, Pompeji...) ist die Wohnung aber ideal. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit Panoramablick

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem größeren Wohnhaus in Hanglage. Die direkte Umgebung besteht aus Weinberge, Kastanienbäumen und Gemüsegärtchen. Die Wohnung war sehr ordentlich und sauber und gut ausgestattet. Draußen gab es mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten mit Panoramablick auf das wunderschöne Tramontital. Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, kein Straßenlärm. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles zusammen eine solide Unterkunft, die uns gut gefallen hat!

Tourism in times of Corona

A beautiful place for sure although we could not go there due to the Corona pandemic. The owner though had been very kind in refunding 50% of the rent though he was not obliged to. We are are sure to make up for a visit by the time the crisis is over...

Mooi ingericht appartement

Leuke vakantiewoning met alles wat je nodig hebt. Goede communicatie met de eigenaar. Na de vraag om een theedoek kregen we meerdere theedoeken, handdoeken en een nieuwe afwasteil. Moreno en zijn moeder overtroffen meerdere keren onze verwachtingen. We dachten door de foto's, dat het om een vrijstaand huisje ging, maar het is een appartement, dus dat viel een beetje tegen. Ook zijn de buren soms wat luidruchtig. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras is wel weer erg mooi. Je hebt mooi zicht over het dorpje Pietre en je kunt ver kijken. Al met al hebben we een fijne tijd gehad in het appartement van Moreno.

Schöne Ferienwohnung etwas abseits

Schöne, saubere Ferienwohnung, die alles hat was man braucht. Super Kontakt zum Vermieter. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass es ca. 20min bis nach Ravello mit dem Auto und ca. 30min bis ans Wasser sind und leider Nachmittags keine Sonne mehr auf der Terrasse.

enjoyable stay close to Amalfi Coast

In general the apartment is a good starting point to explore the Amalfi coast. The apartment is well maintained and clean, Moreno and his mother were very friendly and supportive. However, it was disappointing that the air condition was not working and that we had to pay an additional fee on short notice 3 weeks prior to our stay.

Cosy and well equipped accomodation

We stayed for nights in the apartment and enjoyed it very much. Moreno and his family are great hosts. They were very friendly. The apartment itself is very beautiful. Lovely renovated rooms, really very beautiful. "Special feature" is the bed on the gallery. Amazing! The apartment is well equipped, we didn't miss anything. The WI-FI is working well. The apartment is located in a tiny town in the mountains with amazing views towards the Amalfi Coast and the Napoli and surrounding. Clear recommendation: You need a car, as it is a little bit away from the touristic hotspots. But the advantage is that you can easily reach the Amalfi coast (around 15 minutes by car) and Napoli, the Vesuvio and Pompei (around 30-45 minutes by car). So: Thank you Moreno and the rest of your family for the nice stay!!!

Cloud land

We loved the old world feel of being in the mountains with beautiful views. Moreno and Elvira were charming and helpful and my daughter fell in love with the resident animals especially the kittens. Restaurants 5 mins by car. ( the closer one not open in off season). Great place to explore the Amalfi coast from.

Peace in Tramonti

My wife and I came to this beautiful part of Italy to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed in this lovely apartment and it was everything we hoped for. Moreno and his mom were such kind hosts. Moreno gave us good information for visiting the coast which is about a 20 minute drive from the house. His mom had the apartment all perfectly ready and tidy for us. She even included some basic groceries, fruit, coffee and some other staples for us to use. The little village was so quiet and serene. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

Beautiful Place

Moreno and his mom were great hosts. We ended up going on March and it was a bit chilly, but Moreno helped get us situated. In general, any questions we had got a quick response. I would recommend that if you choose to stay here you have a driver experienced with the mountainous Italian roads as the way to the apartment is quite tight and was a bit difficult to navigate bring a first time diverting in Italy.

Breve vacanza in Costiera molto accogliente

Casetta molto accogliente così come in foto e proprietari molto molto cordiali e molto molto disponibili. Un’accoglienza è un trattamento senza pari: dai dolcetti a colazione ai consigli su percorsi e ristoranti...in compenso all’inverno ed al clima abbastanza rigido un calore umano che solo in pochi ancora hanno. Non escludo di tornarci e sicuramente lo consiglio.

Fantastic stay!

My wife and I spent 4 days at this wonderful mountainside retreat and enjoyed every minute of it. Moreno and his mom were extremely welcoming and accommodating hosts and made us feel like family. The town was fantastic and made us feel as if we had stepped back in time. Everyone seemed to know Moreno and welcomed us warmly wherever we went. Great place to get away from it all while still being just a short drive to Pompeii and the Amalfi coast, both of which we enjoyed during our stay.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem kleinen Dorf in den Bergen hinter der Amalfiküste

Wir haben etwa 1,5 Wochen unserer Flitterwochen in der Wohnung verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie ist sehr ordentlich, gepflegt und in gutem Zustand. Die Küchenausstattung ließ für unsere Bedürfnisse keine Wünsche offen (beispielsweise gibt es Espressokocher für den Gasherd, was mich sehr gefreut hat). Moreno ist sehr nett, über Handy gut erreichbar und hilft gerne, wenn man Fragen hat. Auch seine Mutter ist großartig, die uns an einem Tag Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten vorbeibrachte, als wir nur fragten, wann der Laden öffnet, damit wir Knoblauch kaufen könnten. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür! Zur Lage der Wohnung: Sie befindet sich am Ende einer Straße in einer Art Reihenhaus, in dem noch andere Menschen leben (keine Touristen), die sehr nett sind und von denen man nicht viel mitbekommt. Die abgebildete Terrasse ist größer als auf den Bildern zu sehen und man teilt sie mit ihnen, aber wir waren in unserem Fall die einzigen, die sie genutzt haben. Bäcker, Minimarkt und Pizzeria (u.a.) befinden sich in 3-5 Minuten Laufnähe. Was am Inserat leider irreführend ist: Der Weg an die Küste dauert etwa 15-20 Minuten mit dem Auto und es gibt keinen Meerblick von der Wohnung aus, wie auf einem Bild zu sehen ist. (Auch die Nachtaufnahme vom Vesuv wurde von einem etwa 10 Minuten entfernten Ort gemacht.) Das ist kein Problem, aber es sollte einem bewusst sein, damit man nicht enttäuscht ist. Ein Vorteil daran ist, dass es wirklich sehr ruhig und weitläufiger ist im Gegensatz zur direkten Amalfiküste, die eher eng, dicht bevölkert und laut ist.

Lovely place in the hills

Moreno & his mom, Elvira, were very welcoming and ready to answer any questions we had. We really enjoyed our stay away from the busyness of the coast - the coast was an easy bus ride there & back. In the heat of July, we found Moreno's place to be quite cool which was great as well as clean & comfortable with everything we needed. There was a little store and bakery nearby that was perfect for our basic needs. We had been travelling for a couple weeks full on with our two teenagers and needed a place to slow down. We stayed 5 nights which gave us more than enough time to explore the coast including a day trip to Pomeii. Thank you Moreno & Elvira!!

Prachtig en rustiek gelegen in het bergebied Tramonti op 20 minuten afstand van de Amalfikust

De woning is een oase van rust als je de prachtige Amalfikust, Napels, Versuvio en Pompei wilt bezoeken. Alles is op een prima afstand te bereiken. Morena is een gastheer die op de achtergrond altijd bereikbaar is voor vragen. Vanuit het appartement heb je prachtig uitzicht over het dal van Tramonti. Het appartement is volledig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeker gezien de prijs - kwaliteit verhouding. Je verblijft tussen de lokale bevolking. Baker en supermarkt(je) zijn op 300 mrt afstand. Voor 4 personen is het misschien niet helemaal geschikt. Het appartement beschikt niet over een afgesloten aparte slaapkamer. Een aanrader!

Accueil tramontain très attentionné !

Malgré le peu de lumière et une certaine humidité de la location à Pietre, nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances grâce à la gentillesse de Moreno et de sa maman que nous remercions infiniment ! Nous mettons seulement 3 sur 5 en raison du prix que nous avons trouvé un peu élevé si on le rapporte au niveau de confort. Notre séjour demeure un très bon souvenir et nous sommes contents d'avoir pu découvrir votre belle région montagneuse de Tramonti. Très cordialement. Chantal et Jean-Marc

Beautiful flat in the heart of the mountains!

We loved our stay here at Moreno and his mother's flat. The view is wonderful and so is the hospitality! We were met with smiles and wine. Give it a try and stay away from the craziness of Sorrento! The flat has everything you can think of and the town of Pietre is peaceful and welcoming. The roads can scare you (I'm not the best with heights) but are manageable.
