We were a family of 6 ranging from
76 - 15, and we all had a fabulous time.
The apartment was spacious, well equipped and comfortable for all of us.
The pool was enjoyed by all ages and was never crowded, the view from
The hot tub is stunning, as are the views from the apartments. We really enjoyed sitting out on our patio late into the evening.
The location was superb: plenty to do for all ages. We went paddle boarding, lake swimming, in the numerous lidos, hired a speed boat, walked up the mountains, visited the 14 chapels, visited villa Carlotta, all of there’s were within easy distance, most of them walkable. We also took boat trips to the other villages, each with their own individual charm.
There is a cobbled path down to the lake front, from The apartments, bringing you out opposite the ferry terminal, a bus stop, and the Trombetta express, where there are a variety of very good, reasonably priced restaurants, and of course the Grand Hotel, where an evening cocktail in the bar overlooking the lake with it’s twinkling lights is a must.
Matteo, who was our contact in Tremezzo, was brilliant, helpful and informative.
It was a great holiday, but as we were only there for a week, perhaps a little short!
