The Blue Cottage Rental - The Perfect Lookout Mountain Getaway

Vi tycker att du borde veta att vi inte är din typiska bergstuga. Även om vi ligger på Lookout Mountain, och på en avskild fastighet omgiven av massor av träd och natur, är vi en unik bergsuthyrning, lite lyx i skogen. Oavsett om det är våra plyscha badrockar, original konst eller uteplats bubbelpool, kommer du att känna dig speciell under din vistelse. Vår stuga är vackert utformad och inredd, på ett mycket bekvämt och modernt sätt. Särskild uppmärksamhet på detaljer togs i alla aspekter av att skapa The Blue Cottage.

Hjort frekventerar fastigheten och lägger skönhet i omgivningen. En mängd olika fåglar lockas till de många matare som ger timmar med fågelskådning. Sommarmånaderna är underbara för att njuta av många arter av fjärilar.

Medan du stannar, känner du att du är miljon miles bort, men du är bekvämt beläget till attraktionerna i Chattanooga, Chickamauga och Lookout Mountain. Majestätisk utsikt över dalen och otroliga solnedgångar ligger en kort promenad från fastigheten. Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding launch site) ligger bara i slutet av uppfarten. Rock City, Ruby Falls, Point Park och Cloudland Canyon State Park ligger alla inom en kort bilresa.

Fabulous!

The cottage was exceptionally clean and well equipped! It was beautifully situated bqck off the road, so very private and quiet. At the end of the road was the most awesome view ever! It was about 20 to 25 minutes down the mountain to shops and restaurants. However, there were many things to do and see within 10-15 minutes away. Very close to Rock City, Ruby Falls, etc. We would definitely like to return to the Little Blue Cottage!

A petite cottage, perfect for 2, or parents with an older child or teen. That's because the single bed is upstairs in a loft. The only way up there is a very narrow spiral staircase. The single bed in the loft is suspended with ropes. The cottage is very remote and private. The garden is beautiful. The decor inside is artful with fun colors.Highly recommend going to watch the Hang gliders at the nearby Lookout Mountain Flight Park. It's just down the road and the views are incredible. The owner is attentive and is in communication without being intrusive. Maybe the magazines could be updated. Some were from 2017!

Great Place to Stay

We loved the cottage but we were disappointed to discover the hot tub was not operating. It was included in the photos on the website so we thought it was part of the deal, and we were so looking forward to it. Other than that, we loved staying at the cottage.

Birthday Getaway 2025

I absolutely love The Blue Cottage. So peaceful and convenient to lots of outdoor activities. This is my second visit to the cottage and I’ve enjoyed it both times.

Sweet little cottage in the middle of the woods

My sister-in-law and I wanted to “get away from it all” and this cottage was the perfect little spot. The house is so cute, the swinging bed in the loft, although creaky to lay down on, was very relaxing- especially to read in the morning while gently swinging. It was also nice that the hot water was quickly available and long lasting. We were only about 20 minutes or so from downtown Chattanooga and Ruby Falls and the views were spectacular. It was a great girls trip weekend! Natalie was wonderful to work with and someday we would love to come back!

Perfect location

What a great place to stay! This cute cabin was perfectly located to access all the Lookout Mountain hikes and easy access to Chattanooga. Natalie was an awesome host and responded to all our questions within an hour or less. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Nice place

Great location from Cloudland Canyon and Chattanooga. We stayed there to hike Cloudland canyon. It rained all day on one of the days and we made a short drive into Chattanooga. The drive way is long and was good for walking our dog up and down. The house was great and had everything we needed for a couple of day stay.

Little Blur Cottage

Perfect ladies getaway

I took my mom and my 2 aunts (all in their 70s) to this lovely cottage for the weekend. I take them all over the country on trips but they said this one of their very favorites. The hosts attention to detail is second to none. Highly reccomend!😊

Wonderful Little Place!

It was a gem! We loved the swinging bed, hot tub, kitchen, living area. Location on the bluff close to Cloudland Canyon State Park & Lookout Mountain was tremendous. We loved our stay & time there!

Little Blue Cottage was better than expected.

My husband and I wanted a nice quiet house to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We found the perfect place. It was close to many attractions but far enough away that we had complete privacy. It was a lovely house with everything we needed.

Cozy little cottage in the woods

My husband and I absolutely loved this cottage. It has everything you need to enjoy a quiet getaway. Beautiful flowering gardens surround the property, with a variety of birds, and woodland critters. We enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch admiring the views, and just taking it all in. We brought our two dogs with us, and they loved it as well. We were all very comfortable, and felt right at home. Definitely a must if you love a relaxing getaway.

Start of "My Life - Season 55"

The Blue Cottage was AMAZING and so much more than I expected! This was my annual ME Vacation for my birthday. I pick one of my bucket list items and find a place nearby to stay. This was the perfect spot. I went a little out of the way the day I was checking in and marked Gibbs Gardens off my list. The first two days at the cottage, I did nothing but relax due to the cloudy and windy weather. The last full day there was beautiful and I was able to visited Cloudland Canyon State Park and do the waterfall trail. Absolutely gorgeous hike and well worth the pain I'm feeling today. I definitely want to visit The Blue Cottage again. I'm thinking a Fall getaway might be in order. Thank you again for opening up your gorgeous place and making it so welcoming and relaxing! Peaceful and quiet

Very well appointed property in a very quiet, peaceful spor surrounded by nature. Master bed is comfortable, my granddaughter loved the swinging bed, and the hot tub was lovely.

This delightful cottage was perfect for two people who desperately needed some “down time”. Beautifully decorated, clean and far enough away from city life but close enough to great restaurants and Chattanooga if needed. We loved it!
