“Canadian Hotel (earlier “Hotel Ristorante Canadian” but the restaurant is only opened for groups and breakfast in the morning) is a three-star hotel with spartan furnished rooms. Easy to reach from the autostrada to and from Rome. The room was clean and offered a good stay and has also a swimming pool. Free parking at the hotels own parking lot. “Perfect pick for us, convenient, clean, safe, helpful staff. Helped get a taxi to get to Salerno train station. Breakfast included. Beautiful view of river running thru Campagna. Campagna has historical sites which housed Jews during war, but the Italians were kind to the prisoners, which caused some their lives. US bombed Campagna causing deaths to Jews and citizens, but my family realizes it was a stratigic strike. Catacombs under church dating way back. Great Catina there, also pizzaria ”
