“The Hotel Retreat Siargao Resort is an excellent location for all the people who wanted to visit Siargao. Jason Ha and the wife Reni is an excellent host. They will provide you with a bottle of red wine and a 7 course dinner on your first day in Siargao. The location is about 30 minutes from cloud 9 and from the Corgi Isla. Thank you Jason & Reni and it is well appreciated.”

“Lovely stay in the beautiful island of Sairgao. Location is very convenient. Close to General Luna, boat pier and market, but located in quiet street. Lovely, friendly owners, they supported me with booking island tour and airport transfer. I rented a scooter one day from the B&B to explore the island, very reasonable price. Room is standard with warm electrical shower. Aircon works well but makes a lot of noise, but I slept well regardless. Power went out because of rain but it was restored...

“Vilket skönt hotell! Ligger riktigt bra till i General Luna. Rummen var fina och rena. Personalen på detta hotell var helt outstanding. Så trevliga och behjälpliga. Restaurangen var god och deras drinkar var också supergoda. Kommer helt klart bo här igen nästa gång jag åker till Siargao. Det enda minuset är väl att det inte riktigt var någon power i duschen. Men gissar att det inte är deras fel. Ligger säkert hos någon annan. ”

I left my keys 3x on the door handle and my room was never opened . If you get there , talk with the owner and learn the history of the hotel . You’ll truly know the meaning of perseverance , hardwork and dedication . Glad I stayed at this hotel. ”

“Spent 3 days with family in Patrick's. Booked a family room which was supposed to have a refrigerator according to hotels.com but that was not true, only seaview rooms has, this is not the fault of the hotel obviously. As for the hotel, i will be fair. Staff is great, helpful and friendly. Food taste good, hamburger was yummy and so was the curry, however most portions will not make you full. If's a bit expensive and time from ordering until we got the food was 1 hour which is too long...

“This hotel is in real need of renovation. This was not at all value for money. Hotel was dark at night and felt like a ghost hotel, we only saw two other guests. We had no water in our shower on day we checked out so we weren't able to shower before heading to the airport.”

“This accommodation was away from the chaos of General Luna. But not too far away if you wanted to venture in for food and drinks. For clarity, property has a gated private entrance and there is a front desk to check in, but the ad doesn't say so. Our room was spacious, clean and very cool as it had ac and a roof fan. There is also a private pool. During the evening the walk ways to the villas are well lit with a security guard on site. ”

“First off...Mitch was an absolute top notch host! Very accommodating and a wealth of knowledge for us 1st time travelers to Siargao! The grounds were beautiful, well kept and relaxing finishes! There was a little construction going on next door but it didn't bother is much. The location is about 5 minutes tuk tuk ride to General Luna city center where you'll find LOTS of shops, restaurants, bars, wellness centers etc! Book your stay with Mitch at Casa Basa, enjoy Siargao by day and a relaxing...
