“Breakfast was weird. Everything wrapped in plastics. The flatware also plastic. The plates one time use cardboard. The “scrambled eggs” made from powder, some sort of strange meet patty in the container next to it. The only fruit or vegetable a banana. Imagine the daily load of trash from this practice.
Our room smelled strongly of chlorine (yuck) but an undeniable smell of unclean still came from the carpet. The bathroom was dirty in the corners and the toilet roll hold roller had seen better...

“While the front desk were super nice and helpful, and I was grateful to check in early but the room was disgusting. It had multiple giant flies buzzing around inside the room and the shower didn't work. I didn't even know about the shower until they sent a maintenance person to my room 30 min after I checked in, without letting me know ahead of time. I was totally freaked out, he knocked on my door, not in uniform or showing anything on his person that proved he was a hotel employee. I refused...

“It was self check in, so we didn't see any staff until the next morning. We were the only ones there and pretty much had the run of the place. Beautifully furnished. There was no one else there, but we still wound up on the third floor and had to drag our suitcases up.”

“I booked one night for the Radford Inn, which I chose through Expedia. However, the hotel rep over the phone said the reservation was under the Quality Inn. Same hotel, two different names and rates. Either Expedia ought to addresses this issue, or the hotel runs a questionable business.
My reservation was not found under either hotel name, so Expedia did resolve the problem on my behalf.
I have as unable to check out because the man at the counter said they don’t do check-outs at that time of...
