“The hotel i nicely situated along Donau. The hotel is in reality two hotels; Hotel Delta 3 and Hotel Delta 4. "3" is related to "three stars" and "4" to "four stars". The Delta 3-building might be about 50 years old. When you come in to the reception and the surroundings, you get the feeling of the old Romania, ruled by the communists. “We had a wonderful stay and would thoroughly recommend it. We contacted them before arrival to ask if we could arrange a boat trip on the Danube and this was organised for us. As it was the end of season it was quiet but we still felt welcome. “the receptionist didn't know we are coming.we somehow managed to convince her we have already paid in advance. second issue - there were drainage problems in our bathroom and the floor very wet all the time. breakfast was o.k. the room was o.k. location was good! the lobby looks very nice!”

“I liked that it was a family business and they really cared about the service they delivered. The dinners were traditional fish based dishes with delish sauces. They totally respected our privacy, but were prepared to join us for a game. The boat trip was arranged to best suit the weather and we were given a very safe and comfortable, smooth trip. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though the pillows were a little thinner than what I generally use.”

'Our tent ended up being the only one on the beach, so a very intense feeling of solitude grabbed a hold of me. I kept staring at the white sand beach, at the blue sky, and at the quiet sea and the only thing on my mind was an ‘activity’ I am not very familiar with: doing nothing (and I admit that I can’t go on with it for more than 24 hours!).
