“Casa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited. The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely. For unknown reason the paddle boards were broken,but we weren't told why and when we could use them. There is A LOT of stairs, so if you have issues with that it's not the best place for you. ”

“Very helpful personal. Not easy to find the Place first time, though close to San Juan by feet. (lake way). Spacious and Clean rooms. The view was a deception as the lake from this side is Dirty.”

“Beautiful hotel, excellent staff and gorgeous grounds. The restaurant wasexcellent as well. We originally booked a place in San Marcos but the bathroom was not private or close. Santa cataria was much more peaceful. And the pools were wonderful.”

“I absolutely loved the hotel and property. The area of San Marcos wasn’t for me personally but I enjoyed the amenities of the hotel and the staff were always amazing and so sweet. The views are also … breathtaking ”

“This property is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life. Breathtaking gardens, delicious food and drinks (amazing wine offerings) and everyone was so friendly. Everything about this property is fabulous!”

“Ett mycket trevligt hotell lite vid sidan av, i Antigua Guatemala. Det ligger på en innergård så det är mycket lugnt. God frukost, kontinental eller guatemalansk serveras vid en vacker liten trädgård. Personalen är vänliga och mycket måna om att hjälpa till.”

They went above and beyond to be flexible and accommodating during an excruciating personal time for me, and I’ll never forget their kindness. The place itself is a total respite, offering unobstructed views of the volcano and lake—absolutely breathtaking, million-dollar views at an affordable price. The Lebanese cuisine is excellent, a refreshing and delicious break from the local fare....

“Internet worked great, excellent shower, good breakfast, water available all the time, fabulous service. At elevation, climbing up the stairs to the fifth floor was honestly a challenge, but worth it.”

“It was low season but we got grate service, upgrade, early breakfast, ride to the closest restaurant when their own was closed. It is not walk distance to the town, but it was the calm and nice surroundings that we was looking for. ”

“Clean rooms, satisfying service, and endless free refill water. Nice location close to restaurants, the center and where to tale the boats around thd lake. The wifi was a bit unsteady but worked most of the time. The restaurant on the roof had nice food but breakfast was not included.”

“An absolutely charming, fantastic, historic property, right in the middle of town, at the very edge of the market. We had an enormous suite with a fireplace and more beds and space than we could use. Loved it!!!”

“Visitors must be aware of the steep, difficult climb from the main road. Fit folx in their 20s and 30s won't be too fussed, but we're pretty fit for our 50s and it was a real effort. Handrails leading up to the yurts would make an excellent safety addition. We stayed in the top yurt (#4) and the views are tremendous and worth the big climb. We requested breakfast delivery in the am and it arrived on time! Delicious. Recommend this relatively new destination!”

"Casa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited. The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely.
