“Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.”

“Great spot in the heart of Beech Mountain town. Walking distance to Fred's, Brick Oven, and everything else worth doing in town. Just a 10-minute drive down the mountain to Banner Elk. And the barbecue downstairs from the unit is worth giving a try. to”

“The host was very welcoming and detailed in his feedback. The house was older but well kept and clean. The kitchen has recently been renovated and is very nice. The street is very quiet, we never saw another person during our stay. The house had everything we needed! ”
