Un po di caos
La chiave della camera ci e stata lasciata nel cassetto postale ma senza le indicazioni dove si entra, quale porta si deve aprire... Siamo stati costretti a chiamare il servizio aspettando piu di mezz'ora davanti l'hotel verso mezzanotte. Quando e arrivato il ragazzo, gentile, ci ha portato verso la porta giusta ma in una distanza di 10-15 metri dall'ingresso principale dell'albergo (siccome si trattava di un edificio distaccato dall,albergo). Siamo rimasti abbastanza delusi. Tutt'altro - OK!!!

Ci dispiace molto che vi siate trovati male, ma il check-in termina alle ore 20:00 . Vi abbiamo fatto un favore a ricevervi a quell'ora . Telefonicamente parlando le ho spiegato la modalità di come accedere all'altra parte dell'edificio. lei mi ha chiamato alle ore 00:30 perchè non riusciva a trovare l'ingresso a 10 metri dietro di lei ( molto visibile ed illuminato ) e mi sono subito attivato per poterla ricevere e questo è il ringraziamento. La prossima volta che vuole effettuare un check.- in dopo l'orario previsto ( in questo caso mezzanotte) si rivolga ad un hotel che ha il sevizio notturno pagando 100 euro di più . La ringrazio molto cordiali saluti.

Unica pecca pulizia nel bagno
Ottima la location anche se trovare un parcheggio non è facilissimo se si va in macchina almeno non nelle vicinanze... staff molto gentile... camera da letto pulita mentre il bagno Assolutamente no pelì nella doccia e addirittura un cotonfiocchi nel cestino del bagno che evidentemente non era stato svuotato

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut, Lage klasse mitten in der Altstadt. Etwas schwer zu finden, am besten parkt man im Parkhaus und geht ein Stück zu Fuß.

The "hotel" was, at least in our case, a flat in about 20-30 metres distance. It was very spacious, clean, equipped with a kitchen, the bed very comfortable.

Camera molto carina, con parquet e travi a vista, sita in punto caratteristico della città e a due passi dal centro. Receptionist molto cortese, peccato per il proprietario che, avendogli fatto notare che avevo chiesto una matrimoniale e non due letti singoli separati, mi ha detto che era la sua unica soluzione e che se non mi andava bene potevo cercare un’altra sistemazione altrove. Complimenti per l’eleganza

Hotel e reception sono divise ma non è un problema, l’uomo alla reception è molto gentile. La camera era piccola ma ben tenuta. L’unica cosa negativa era il condizionatore a terra che faceva molto rumore; impossibile tenerlo acceso anche di notte.

Piccolo gioiello tra il mare e il duomo
Piccolo albergo dall'atmosfera familiare, curato e intimo, a pochi passi sia da Piazza Unità d'Italia, sia dal duomo e dal castello, vicino a piazza Barbacan - zona tranquillissima di giorno e molto viva (ma non rumorosa) la sera. Comodissimo il letto, pulitissimi la stanza e il bagno. Ho dormito nella dependance di fronte all'albergo vero e proprio, con ingresso completamente autonomo che mi ha fatto sentire a casa. Assolutamente raccomandato.

La struttura è in un bel punto della città vecchia, vicino a tanti locali di vario genere ma senza rumori o chiasso. Si raggiunge abbastanza facilmente, è a 5 minuti da Piazza Unità d'Italia. Ho preso una stanza singola: pulita, comoda, con la tv e il wi-fi perfettamente funzionante. Ti lasciano le chiavi così vai e vieni in libertà senza pensare agli orari.

Di fatto è come vivere nella Trieste medievale
L'albergo è a pochi metri da Piazza Riccardo, con il suo arco romano, dal quale in poco tempo si raggiungono tutte le meraviglie della parte alta della città: all'inizio si è in mezzo alla movida (ma l'albergo è silenzioso) e poi si raggiunge questo empireo fatato di luci soffuse, chiese medievali infarcite di pietre di età romana, vista spettacolare sul golfo.

Hotel carino in zona comodissima. Unico problema non si arriva direttamente in hotel con la macchina essendo in zona pedonale. Ma ha anche il suo fascino.

NICHT, das was wir gebucht haben!
Wir haben uns telefonisch vor unserer Ankunft, 2Erwachsene mit 2Kindern,beim Hotel gemeldet, wie erbeten, und unseren späten Check-in angekündigt. Da war schon, schlecht verständlich, von 2 Appartements, und nicht wie gebucht, von 2 Zimmern für je 3 Personen die Rede. Als wir dann um 21:45 beim Hotel ankamen, war es klar. Es gibt keine 2 Hotelzimmer, wären auch nie frei gewesen, nur 2 Appartements in verschiedenen Gebäuden. Der sehr nette Chef des Hotels sprach von einem Buchungsfehler und ließ ein weiteres Bett in ein Appartement stellen. Wir hatten zumindest ein Dach über dem Kopf. Aber was für eines! Staubknäuel überall, schmutzige Abwasch und Waschbecken, zwei Klappbetten in einem Minikämmerchen, z.T. desolates Mobiliar,... Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren frisch und W-Lan wurde bereitwillig nachgeliefert. Frühstück gab es in einem nahegelegenen Café. Die letzte Nacht haben wir in einem anderen Hotel verbracht.

A simple, friendly and quiet place
A simple, clean and quiet place close to stay for a few days. Breakfast is served in the café of the nearby music-school. The tiny house ist surrounded by narrow alleys and small squares with bars, cafés, restaurants, shops an archaeological monuments, but without car-traffic. You can go everywhere by foot or easiliy catch a bus.

Good location, clean room. Need for earplugs - thin walls + voices and normal street life come trough windows. A bit moldy shower, but rather normal problem in a moist bathroom

Nice hotel in a quiet area once the cathedral bells have stopped ringing! Should have checked if there wasa lift though, had to carry my heavy case up 4 flights of narrow stairs.

A missed occasion
I'm writing to share my experience with this hotel: I drove 5 hours in the afternoon and I arrived at the hotel 90 minutes after the closing time for the check-in and since I was in the car, I couldn't call the property to make the arrangements for a late check-in. When I got to the door, I found two phone numbers and eventually I managed to talk with someone from the hotel (after the first number bounced me to the second). I spoke with the person on the other side of the line, who explained that I was late and I should have called before. True. He offered to come back to the city to open the door for me and give me my room, but at an extra cost of 10€ per hour of delay (which is different from those listed in the confirmation email that I received). The conversation was not at all pleasant and when I asked if it was better for me to find an alternative accommodation, the person said goodbye and ended the conversation. Certainly I should have found a way to contact the hotel ahead of time, and certainly the dismissive and arrogant tone of the hotel person was not appreciated and unnecessary. [NOTE: the ratings about the rooms have been set to 3/5 to be able to submit the review: they do NOT correspond to the experience - since there was none]

Nice, cozy and central
Just as we like it! Silent, perfectly central, cozy, tidy and spacious rooms, in a very nice building, comfortable and relaxing. It doesn't have the loos neither of a cheap hotel, nor of an impersonal and cold chain one. Well-equipped, yet positively lacking superfluous gadgets, familiar atmosphere, very gentle staff. We really liked the small balcony and the style of the whole premises. Just a little note: the air conditioning machine is of the portable kind, not of the latest generation, so it's a little noisy and can be annoying if turned on for the night: you might need to organize as to refresh the room (which is necessary in the hot summer days) sometime before you go to sleep.

Don't leave anything in the room
I'M sure 100% i left my i.phone battery charger in the room. I've already called them 3 Times AND they never called me back. Even if for all the 3 Times, they promised me, to do it very very quickly... By the way they recharged me the cost OF the room, i thought i already paied during the reservation... sono hope o didn't pay twice the room... AND to be stupid, Seen that when i arrived At the hotel it Was late, because the reception close At 20:00pm AND i probably arrived At 22:00pm, so for this i paied a little tip... just 10 euro i know but it's somethimg . If Nothing happened i wanted to came back again to this Hotel, when returning from my holidays in croatia, but now when i return i'll never go to stay there!

Hotel canceled our reserv. but charged creditcard
We booked the Hotel during the day, and at 22 o clock, before we arrived at the hotel we received a message that it is closed and we shall search another hotel. But the Hotel not just canceled our reservation, they also charged the credit card. I tried to contact the hotel by email but received no answer. Upon calling, they simple hung up. Still have not received any money back.

charming location and staff but needs a fan or ac
Fantastic service from a friendly older gentleman. The location was unbeatable and the building itself was charming, just what I was looking for. And old, authentic house on a cobblestone alley minutes from the busiest part of the city. The only problem was that the room was sweltering hot in august with no fan or a/c. Keeping the windows open helped marginally but filled the room with mosquitoes which ate me alive. I was so hot the last night I was there I slept on the bare hardwood floor because it was a few degrees cooler. I didn't complain about any of this I just figured "when in trieste" but I do think that at least a fan should be left in the room. Got terribly little sleep in 3 days, but still enjoyed it.

Só nao fiquei totalmente satisfeita pois alguns itens que considero essenciais faltaram. No quarto nao havia sequer um copo para beber algo. O aquecimento nao funcionava corretamente e o quarto estava extremamente frio. as camas näo foram arrumadas e nem o banheiro limpo.
