The cottage was nice and the location was good. We were disappointed though that there is not beach access from the property. You couldn't even walk to the edge of the bluff that overlooks the beach. To get to the beach we went to the county park about a mile away. There might have been closer access, but we weren't aware of any.

We enjoyed our stay. One minor issue for us and it's personal preference, we prefer dark sleeping quarters and with the sky lights it made it difficult.

A lovely apartment near the water and hiking. A quiet and safe location for any single guest. Even America with some snacks. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We loved staying here. We were near the Sue-Meg State Park, which was beyond our expectaions. We also went up to the Prairie Creek State Park. Really enjoyed our stay.

This little cottage is darling! The ocean view from the bluff behind the property is breathtaking. It is just a short drive to the beach where many agates can be found! The kitchenette in the cottage is very convenient and the host had a snack basket fully stocked with yummy treats. I slept like a baby and woke up with the sun from the skylights feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Trinidad is super close and has lovely little eateries and easy access to more beaches. Deja Blue is a must stay if you want to be where the forest meets the ocean.

A charming bungalow with anything you may need to start your day including eggs and coffee. Hot shower and comfy bed. Quiet location within short drives to beaches. Redwood National Park a 20 min drive away with abundant hiking. Big grocery store in Trinidad less than 10 min drive. As a single traveler I felt very safe here. I would stay again if back in this very sweet location!

This appeared to be a converted tool shed. Very, very tiny space. very poorly furnished. It had a two burner stove, a tiny sink and a tiny refrigerator.There was no deck and no BBQ grill. It was so bad we left after the first day.

We had a fantastic stay at this property and would absolutely book again. The home was exactly as described—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay.The location was ideal, with convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shops, while still being quiet and relaxing. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the stay feel extra welcoming.Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. This was a spectacular place to spend some time. Right on the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean all sorts of birds to listen to in the morning with a good cup of coffee.Yvonne was a gracious host and very helpful. Deja Blue was cozy; comfortable bed, nice size bathroom and a cute all-in-one sink/stove/refrigerator.We brought bikes and explored the surrounding area with ease. Trinidad was such a cute town. Sue-Meg State Park, The Redwoods, miles of beach and great spots to eat!We will be back for sure!!!We will definitely come back!
