Martina is one of a few apartments that the landlord, Pasquale, let out for rent. It's situated in an old palace in the historical, beautiful and magic city of Tropea and close to everything: the restaurants, shops, cafés, and the beautiful church is next door. Stunning views overlooking the harbour just 50 metres from the entrance. The apartment has everything you need, and what you see on the photos is what you get; it's spacious and beautiful with huge windows and the history is very present. Pasquale is a perfect host, doing his best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. He also is fluent in english, which is not very common in Tropea, and just makes things easier. He was also very helpful with arranging transfer to and from the airport. Just to sit with the windows open, listening to the sounds of the neighbours and daily life, watching the historial surroundings was such a joy. Tropea is a beautiful place with beautiful people and the beach is gorgious. No need to pay for sunbeds if you dont want to, or rent one if you prefer that. Crystal clear water that for a Swede was warm enough in the middle of october! I stayed for three weeks in october, there were still people visiting the place but still very calm and tranquil and absolutely not crowded on the beach. One evening at 6pm I was the only one on the beach :-) In october you can hang out on restaurants and bars in the evening, and I understood that if you'd like to party you should rather go there during high season. Always felt very safe walking around in Tropea, not a single problem during my three weeks, people are very polite, kind and sweet. I will definitely go back some day. One of the best places ever.
