Staff super attentive and helpful. The area and the city is not that impressive but when going to Mauritius we thought a visit to the capital was in place. "We had a lovely stay at Solana! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They organized a candlelight dinner at the gazebo by the beach for us which was a wonderful experience! Clean room with an amazing view. But as most hotels, the bed was a bit too hard for our taste. Food at the buffet is varied and tasty. But if you want better seafood you have to book for a la carte and pay a little extra, even with the all inclusive package. Perfect place if you just want some peace and quiet to relax. But if you want to explore the island and have excursions I would rather recommend a hotel on the west coast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! "
