Mycket trevligt hotell som ger en känsla av asien med fantastiskt fina materialval. Glad och trevlig personal som alltid vill kundens bästa. Mycket god mat på de tre a la carte restaurangerna och även en fin buffé som alternativ varje dag. Bra aktivitetsprogram. Bra läger med närhet till golf och även en båttur till hotellets egen ö som tyvärr var stängd under vår vistelse.

We loved the private island!
We could not have asked for anything more, we had a great stay! We especially loved the private island just 5 minutes away by boat. The lunch restaurant at the island served delicious meals, as well as the restaurant Safran at the hotel. We also used the tennis courts and bicycles for exploring the coast north of the hotel. Great location and very nice room and view from our balcony.

Höga förväntningar som blev uppfyllda. Trevlig personal och bra service! Bra med aktiviteter, även för barn. Underbar privat ö med det lilla extra. Dåligt med tillgängliga bord på restaurangerna vid första sittning.

Friendly staff, fantastic food
Family with 4 children (boys between 6-12 years). Stayed in Junior Suite, Beachfront (Frangipani), 2 rooms with connecting door. Big, wonderful rooms. Beds great, and just stepping out on the beach, was great! But - the kids are not allowed to swim in the pool in the Frangipani area, and that - for a family with kids- was not so fun. I would say that it would have been better not to allow kids in the area from the beginning. Kids club had free lunch and dinner if you liked, for the kids. Great area for younger kids (1-7 years), but not much to do for the older guys. Although they play tennis and football, and they had a room with FIFA- tv-game, so they were happy. The food was super. Although we only ate at the buffé, but it was super, as well as the service. The kids ate for free, but the price is high. Nothing to do in the area around, we stayed 5 days, and that was enough for us, travelling on to the next place.

Fantastisk service men något slitet. Skall dock totalrenoveras med början i april och håller stängt till september. Läget och aktivitetsutbudet väldigt bra.

Don't go there
The resort itself is max 3-4*. Old concept. Constant selling attitude of staff (room upgrade, better this or that etc.). Service attitude of staff not existing in many areas. Restaurants are ok but totally overpriced. Two episodes of our stay: During arrival, we had to wait 75 minutes in our room for our luggage (we were the only arrival at this time). There are different areas to enjoy the beach (all areas are free). We were asked by the staff to leave the beach lounger because a more important guest wanted to lie there.

Best Hotel in Mauritius
I going to Mauritius for business two times a year since seven years, have tried almost all five star hotels, Shangri-La is the best in terms of location, service and food !

Our room smelled of dampness when we arrived and the air conditioning would blow cold air even when it was turned off making our room unpleasant. The hotel provided us a cleaner room. The hotel has a stunning private island which made our week trip worthwhile yet the service and food was not up to the standard of a top hotel. Especially that we stayed at the One and Only Mauritius hotel the previous week, we could really feel a lower quality of service and food. The hotel needs a renovation and a more luxurious feel

THE BEST HOTEL EVER
I have travelled to over 40 countries, many several times. This must be THE best hotel I have ever stayed in. The money is 100% worth it, my only regret was not staying here longer. Loved every single second. Thank you for a memorable trip. Anyone considering this, book it!

Amazing place made better by the fabulous staff
Stayed with friends to celebrate 2 wedding anniversaries and 2 big birthdays. Relaxed, played golf and ate really well. Hotel is amazing. Feels so relaxed yet everything is run so efficiently. The staff are the best thing about the hotel. They are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. Feels like they really want you to enjoy your stay. We have visited this hotel several times and keep returning because the staff are so good. Golf course is beautiful and really well run so there is no waiting. A day on the private island with a long lunch is magical. Really good selection of restaurants. All are excellent but do book before you travel if you want to dine in the signature restaurants.

Toller Strand auf der vorgelagerten Insel
Das Resort ist sehr ansprechend aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Service in den Restaurants verbesserungsbedürftig: Die Frage nach einem Dekanter für den Rotwein wurde weder in englisch noch in französisch verstanden... Es dauerte ziemlich lange bis jemand wußte, was dekantieren bedeutet , in einem 5 Sterne Hotel... Absolutes Highlight ist der zum Resort gehörige Privatstrand auf der vorgelagerten kleinen Insel Ilot Mangenie. Der Strand war der schönste auf unserer Tour durch Mauritius (ok , es, war der gleiche wie nebenan in der ebenfalls besuchten Bubble Lodge)... Feinster weißer Naturstrand und zumindest Anfang Dezember (Nebensaison) fast leer. Das Resort hat auf der Insel ein gutes Beachrestaurant.

Just Perfect!
Excellent from beginning to end. The hotel staff are very helpful, the hotels has two islands which are very easily accessible with boats leaving the jetty every 20 mins. the sea is very clean around the hotel and the food is delicious. the experience was superb!

Me and my partner had a wonderful time, the staff were very attentive and respectful. Words would not be enough for the views and the level of service given, you would need to go there and experience it your self. Big thanks to Prince, Rakesh, Deepak of resort. 5 star in every category!!!

Staff are so genuinely caring. The property was stunning and all the staff couldnt do enough for you. I would like to give a special mention to Prince, Deepak, housekeeping team and gentleman who organises water sports. They all made our stay even more incredible. The breaks service was amazing and the whole property is stunning.

We stayed at Shangri-La Le Touessrok for the first 3 days of our honeymoon. This resort exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff was INCREDIBLE and made us feel like royalty. They bent over backwards to give us the most welcoming and enjoyable visit. We purchased the honeymoon package, which included a breakfast on the beach (was fabulous), foot massage, bottle of sparkling wine, and flowers/balloons. They even went above and beyond with that. They surprised us with a delicious cake to accompany the sparkling wine and had our room completely decorated when we returned from dinner on our anniversary night (we were honeymooning 2 years late due to Covid). The spa treatment was wonderful - much nicer than expected for being part of a package purchase. We spent an afternoon at the private island, to which they provide transportation, which was something we didn't know about until we got there. (Would recommend it!). We got to know the staff on a first name basis, and I honestly have never experienced the level of hospitality and kindness as we did at Shangri-La. I have zero complaints and would absolutely return to this property if we ever return to Mauritius.
