Beautiful-Secluded-Comfortable
We certainly did enjoy our stay! The casita was clean and well kept. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, watching the wildlife and cacti. Lots of places close by to walk our dog. Many restaurants close by to choose from and places to visit. The hosts were so friendly, they made certain we had everything we needed and were always available. We booked again for next year!

Quiet, comfortable casitas in Oro Valley
It was our first visit to the Tucson area. The casitas is located in a quiet area north of downtown that made it very easy for us to hit the top priorities on our list, e.g, Saguaro National Monument, Sabino Canyon, the Desert museum, etc., while providing a very quiet location with unobscured views of the mountains and desert. The sunsets there were outstanding. The casitas had all the amenities we needed for a plenty stay.

Our first visit to Tucson
The casita was the perfect size for our stay and we were very comfortable. We noted several burned out or missing light bulbs. We could not enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains from the patio due to an Army vehicle parked and running just beyond the property. Trucks and trailers were coming and going constantly during the day which were noisy. I am not sure what was going on but it was distractive. The casita itself was very nice. We appreciated the suggestions from the owners to visit the Desert Museum, Saguaro Natl Park, and Sabino Canyon. The Hacienda Mexican restaurant was a treat as well. The nearby Fry's Supermarket took care of all our grocery needs as well.

I am glad you enjoyed our casita. I am sorry for the construction that was happening at the end of the road near our property. Unfortunately we have little control of that and it thankfully is short lived.

Fantastic stay
This is a beautiful property and everything about it was perfect. The owners live in the house which is separate from the casita and were immediately available for any questions. The back yard was fenced for our pup and it was quiet and in a beautiful desert setting.

Quiet with a comfortable king bed!
Stayed while in town on a golf trip. Very quiet area and the large king bed was very comfy. Owners were nice and very communicative, but not at all intrusive. It was perfect for what we needed.

Wonderful Views - Very Tranquil
Property is as described and is a one bedroom casita situated adjacent to the owner’s home on 3 acres of high desert. Great views of the Catalina Mountains and Mt. Lemon. Lots of birds and wildlife. The coyotes howling at night was a bonus.

We liked our first visit so much that we came back for another longer stay. Everything was perfect for staying a couple of weeks. This is a beautiful location for people that enjoy hiking and being outdoors.

Wonderful Stay!
We enjoyed our stay so much, that we are booking again next month to escape the winter weather of Colorado. The casita is in a great location to hike and enjoy all that Oro Valley has to offer. There is nothing negative to say about our stay. The hosts thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We look forward to returning.

Great Location in Oro Valley.
Very nice property. The apartment was well equipped with just about anything you would need. We enjoyed the selection of movies that were there for our enjoyment as well as having a good TV with good programming. The road to the property is a bit rough but not a big deal to us. The apartment is tastefully decorated with a nice kitchen. A little more attention to details as far as cleaning and maintenance would have been nice but nothing that would keep us from returning. Thank you for your positive comments about the casita. I appreciate you letting us know about the light bulbs that did not work after you left. Had we known during your stay we would have corrected what we could have at that time. We do meticulously clean between guests by dusting, sanitizing all surface areas, vacuuming, indoor floors mopped, outside patio and front door area blown cleaned and all linens are fresh. We have never had a negative comment on cleanliness.

Great place!
Everything as advertised. Had everything we needed for a great 2 week stay. Location is great! It is not in a neighborhood, so it was very quiet. Love the Oro Valley area. Owners are right next door. We saw them once or twice around and had a very nice conversation. Great tips about the area. Would definitely stay there again!

A “just right “ casita
This single bedroom casita was perfect for our week visiting grandkids in Oro Valley. A little off the beaten path, thus nice and quiet, but within a couple miles of the necessary stores. Kitchenette was plenty sufficient for simple breakfasts before we headed out for the day. Hosts were accessible and friendly. We will definitely consider staying with Chip and Cheryl again when we’re coming into town for a quick visit with the grandkids.

Will be coming back!
This property is a gem! I wish I could give it 6 stars! It is the perfect location to stay at while visiting friends and family in the Northern Tucson area. The home is pet friendly, the gated back yard is designed so your pet stays in the yard and can't escape, the kitchen is well equipped, and the king size bed/bedding is the same quality as a high end bed and breakfast. We stayed here to avoid our non-vaccinated family during the holidays. It is a perfect location to social distance and keep away from crowds. We plan to rent this place next holiday season! We are in the new normal and this is the perfect place to see family yet keeping a distance.

Beautiful and relaxing.
Moving into the area and needed a short stay before we closed on the new home. Staying here was one of the most relaxing "vacations" I have ever had. The views were wonderful. The home was perfect, clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. Loved it. Thank You Chip and Cheryl.

Wonderful Stay
We picked the perfect place to stay as we had a Penske truck with us and there was plenty of room to park it which probably would have been an issue with other locations. The owners were very personable and made sure that we had everything we needed. Will recommend to friends when they come to visit!! Highly recommend!

Great Location for Comfy Casita
Near beautiful mountains, hiking trails, good restaurants and many Tucson venues. The Casita was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Perfect fenced yard for our small dog. Peaceful Place near Catalinas

Sanctuary in the time of Coronavirus
Vacation in the time of Coronavirus. Chip and Cheryl were excellent host's. This became our sanctuary for 24 days. We had booked for 2 weeks, but extend our stay for an additional 10 days, feeling it was safer and healthier to be out in the sunshine instead of our home state of Washington. Not being able to go out to eat in restaurants the rental was perfect for cooking in, plus a nice grill outside. Patio table was nice and big so our friends could join us for a "social distancing" get together. Our only disappointment, being that we were "sheltered in place" was the poor Wi-Fi and comfort of the livingroom. We set up our Roku, to enjoy Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube TV but due to poor internet service the constant spooling was annoying. Perhaps some more comfortable livingroom furniture would be a nice addition to this lovely Casita.

It was a pleasure having you. Sorry about your Roku experience. That is why all our previous guests have enjoyed the DirecTv that is supplied. We have Hugh’s Net for internet service. Your comment about the furniture is the first we have heard. Most like the recliner and sofa with extended ottoman. Glad you made it home safely.

Loved Tucson
Great place - week started with Chip greeting us to fill us in on all details of house and gave us area recommendations (Desert Museum a must). Tucson area offers an abundance of hiking options and it was so nice to enjoy wine on the patio after many miles. Our visits with Molly were an unexpected joy. Can’t wait to visit again.

Peaceful Retreat on New Year's
Cheryl communicated with us, Chip greeted us at the house. Their house is on the same property, but separated, and there is a gate you must open to enter this beautiful place. The backyard is very dog friendly, and has a screen surrounding the bottom of the fence to prevent small pets from sliding through the rails. The kitchen has a convection oven, a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a two burner stove top. We heated a ham, and made New Year's Day dinner here. I also baked a Lisbon chocolate cake in the convection oven. I brought my own cake pan, but the kitchen is stocked with mixing bowls, whisk, spatulas, etc. The California King Bed was perfect for my 6 ft. 4 tall husband, and me. There are two TVs which is great for New Years football games on one, and since I don't watch football, I had the option of the bedroom tv. Direct Tv, DVD player, great 5G wifi. The view from the front and back was a Wow factor. We watched the sunset every night on the back cushioned patio furniture. Frys Marketplace is about 2 minutes away. We placed an online order for pick up the night before we arrived, talk about easy grocery shopping. Chip had suggestions for where to eat and visit. We ended up visiting San Xavier Del Bac, and went to Catalina State Park. The desert landscape will blow your mind if you've never seen it in it's natural state like what surrounds this home. A must stay!

Quick trip changed to ultimate self-care!
The casita was absolutely wonderful and even more enchanting than expected. Watching the sunrise over the mountains and the desert was incredible! We loved staying "in the desert" and not in a crowded neighborhood or downtown hotel. King bed was so very comfortable, everything was impeccably clean, and it was stocked with everything we needed. The casita was within easy driving distance of where we wanted to go including downtown Tucson, wedding and reception venues, the Christmas art festival, Saguaro National Park, and the Desert Museum. Chip met us the morning of our first day and gave us the tip to see the Deseret Museum! Perfect recommendation! The Museum and the National Park were our favorite part of the trip. Chip and Cheryl were incredibly accommodating; especially with our late arrival, thanks for leaving the light on! Cheryl sent us a text letting us know we have left a toiletry bag and offered to mail it to us. Truly, above and beyond! We recommend this vrbo to anyone, and will definitely stay there again when we travel to the Tucson area!

Desert Retreat
This property was well represented on the website. Quiet, secluded and a perfect place to enjoy the desert. A quiet place for those who enjoy the desert and wildlife, yet we had all the comforts of "home" in the casita. Lovely rooms & surroundings, accomodating owners
Family of four (with 2 young girls) stayed for three days. We needed some flexibility on arrival, which was easily arranged. WiFi a bit slow (but bandwidth availability in this area is known to be problematic). We were sorry to miss the hibernating tortoise.
