Great place, highly recommended!
I stayed at this hotel with my sister. We ended up extending your stay longer then planned. We loved this hotel. It was clean and the beds were were comfortable. It was quiet at night so you will not have troubles sleeping here. Wifi, fans and aircon worked very well and they provide you with a safety box in the room to keep valuables. Very friendly staff and a security gard at the door all night long. The place is central and has free parking space just outside. We rented a scooter and had no issues with parking. If you rent a bike they allow you to keep it inside of the hotel premises over night which was great. The area feels safe and is lit up in the night. Very close to the main streets and you can easily get from there to the beaches and the hotel zone by driving. Hailing a cab from there should not be too hard either since it’s so central. I would highly recommend this hotel. If we come back to Tulum we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel sits just off of the main road through Tulum, and has good connections via bike and/or car to the beach (~3 km). The rooms are clean and come with AC and a TV. The toilet sits in a separate, smaller room and the shower + bath and two sinks are connected to the main room. Security guard present 24/7 in the lobby/outside hotel. They offers bikes for free against a $500 MXN deposit (which will be returned to you when you check out) and the breakfast offers something for everyone (fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast, eggs etc.) The staff is really caring and friendly, and both Leo (front desk/reception) and Wendy (breakfast hostess) will go out of their way to make your stay both enjoyable and as smooth as possible! We are definitely coming back!

Nice stay, good, functional, clean, nice pool, silent area, a bit noisy pool cleaning 0730 in the morning just outside the door. Good bed and sofa, AC good. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok but not great.

Härlig lägenhet
Mycket fin lägenhet i lugnt område men ändå nära centrum. Härlig pool. Trevlig hjälpsam personal. Helt nöjda!

Nice hotel for this price. cosy and great if you wish to have the possibility to store some food/fruits and drinks since it has a kitchen. Beds were a bit small and breakfast not great. But I would still recommend this place!

Fint och prisvärt
Charmigt litet hotell. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Cyklar finns att låna kostnadsfritt. Bra och mycket prisvärt läge i stan.

Trevligt Ställe!
På en fem veckors rundresa på Yucatan halvön bodde vi här en vecka. Familj med en 5 och 9 åring. Hade en swim-up suite. Vi trivdes jätte bra och tyckte det var rätt att bo i stan. Tog hyrbilen till stranden. Gick även att låna cyklar på hotellet och trampa dom 3 kilometrarna till stranden. Mycket restauranger inom gångavstånd. Frukosten var helt okej för att vara i Mexiko.

Riktigt trevligt hotell och hjälpsam personal. Fräscha rum med daglig städning. Jättebra att man fick låna strandhanddukar dagligen och toppen med gratis cyklar. Frukosten var fräsch och god.

Jag och en kompis bodde på hotellet i 12 dagar. Det ligger i utkanten av Tulum stad och ca 2,2 km ifrån stranden. Vi cyklade på en cykelväg som går raka vägen varje dag med hotellets gratis cyklar. Fungerade utmärkt och gav oss möjlighet att utforska flera olika platser. Rummet var rent och prydligt. Bekväm säng och bra AC. God service av hotellets personal som alltid var hjälpsamma. Vi kunde inte ha varit nöjdare med hotellet eller dess läge !! Det enda negativa var en något enkel ovarierad frukost. Det fanns bara formfranska ( brödrost finns) frukter, yoghurt kaffe och te, några pålägg. En väldigt enkel frukost men det fungerade för oss. Skulle inte tveka att bo på Livetulum igen !

Helt okej hotell som ligger bra till för att ta sig till olika arkeologiska platser (Coba och Chichen Itza) med ADO bussarna. Ett plus är cyklarna som går att låna för att ta sig till Tulums väldigt fina strand och Maya ruinerna. Hotellet tar en ganska häftig deposition per cykel ca 1200:- men det går bra med kreditkort.

Vi trivdes väldigt bra, avslappnad och vacker miljö, fin pool och trevlig personal. Frukosten kunde varit mer varierande.

Very nice!
We loved this hotel! The staff were very service minded and helpful! We travel as backpackers so for us, this hotel was the dream! The only negative thing might be the location. It is quite far to the beach. But you can borrow bikes from the hotel. Thank you LiveTulum for an amazing stay!

Hade det jattebra pa livetulum. Ligger nara stan, ca 4-5 min att ga till "ga gatan" jatte fint var det också. Tva nackdelar, ingen jatte rolig frukost och extremt lyhört, vaknade av bilarna varje morgon. Horde aven nar rummet ovan var pa toaletten. Men annars var det ett toppen hotell!

On our three week long vacation in Mexico, LiveTulum was the best hotel we stayed in. Before Tulum we stayed in different hotels, all from hostels to 4-star all inclusive hotels. Livetulum has nice and helpful staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. We could borrow bikes for free and the fact that it was closer to the city center than to the beach was only a good thing since we could choose from a variety of restaurants within walking distance. A short bike trip down to the beach was not a problem!

Ok for that price
For the price it's ok. Very basic. If you come from the US it's well below the average standard, yet above average US hotels price. I stayed two nights in January. Even then the a/c is not strong enough to cool down even if it is on 24/7. Parking is convenient. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Far from the beach.

Clean beautiful rustic property. Very cute room! Comfortable bed and pillows. Short walk from downtown but just far enugh away for a peaceful sleep. Lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The wifi wasn't working but we were able to install isim cards for internet connection.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this experience was the most frustrating experience I’ve had in quite a while. To start, when we checked in, we were told there was no wifi in the hotel and that there was no air conditioning. This is at odds with what amenities it shows the hotel having on the listing. If we had known that there would be no wifi or AC (in a tropical climate, mind you) we would NOT have booked the room. It was really late when we checked in so we had to wait until the next day. When we approached the concierge about the lack of amenities, he says the wifi is down everywhere in that location (which wasn’t true because we were able to get wifi at a place 1/2 a mile away). When we asked about the AC, he holds up a remote to turn on the unit in our room. What good is that going to do us to get ac if you’re keeping the remote to the ac in the room, behind the desk??? So we had to sleep in sweltering heat for a night because they didn’t want to give us the remote to one wall ac unit that looked incredibly old. The worst part is that, after checking out early, due to the lack of amenities advertised, they did not refund us for the 3 nights we didn’t stay so we ended up having to pay for 4 nights when we only stayed one. Awful customer service on top of it being incredibly loud and the room being outdated. Not worth the money AT ALL. Do not stay here, there are much better options nearby.

It was ok. It’s old and a bit tired. The beds were comfortable, the a/c works and there is very friendly and helpful staff. But there were constructions working right next door and it’s not sound proof at all, so we never got to fully relax either on the room, the balcony or by the pool. The shower were also a bit hard to regulate. The location is good, both central and yet private! Lots of good breakfast and lunch options nearby, also a very good supermarked within walking distance!

A fuir ! Sur les photos, l'hôtel semble entouré de verdure et calme, à l'arrivée on découvre un immeuble qui bloque la vue de la chambre et un autre plus haut en cours de construction ! Oubliez l'intimité, avec les travailleurs qui regardent directement dans votre chambre, et le bruit du matin au soir, impossible d'avoir un moment de tranquillité. Pas d'eau chaude non plus, et la propreté laisse à désirer. Une déception cet hôtel. J'aurai bien aimé ajouter des photos pour illustrer mes propos mais l'application Hotels.com ne fonctionne pas correctement lorsque l'on souhaite ajouter des photos.
