Exotic and lovely place - but rent a car!
Wonderful place and staff. Beach outside is not for swimming but they give bikes for free and have a private beach 10 minutes from the hotel. However I recommend you to rent a car because this hotel is located 20-30 minutes from hotel area and center of Tulum where u will find all the shops and restaurants etc. But the hotel restaurant and food was good too! Highly recommend.

Bekvämt hotell med undermålig restaurang
Mycket härligt och lugnt läge. Fina rum med sköna sängar och härlig utsikt över havet. Däremot behöver restaurangen snäppa upp ett antal steg för att nå nivån på hotellet. Okunnig personal och väldigt låg nivå på matlagningen. En kväll orkade vi inte gå till restaurangen, beställde en pizza till rummet som kom princip ogräddad. Jacuzzi utan bubblor etc. Är du inte kräsen när det kommer till mat så va hotellet perfekt för avkoppling.

This was my second time to O’Tulum and I’m looking forward to my third. It is as beautiful as the advertisements. You have a front row seat to the beautiful beach and sky! The hotel is my peaceful getaway to recover from burnout. The service is 5 stars everyone is kind, friendly and helpful.

Great service from all the employees, from check in to check out. Not to mention the restaurant employees were all amazing and really kind. We we celebrating an anniversary and they had our room decorated to surprise us ! It was so beautifully arranged ! The view was great and the room itself is pretty large and nice. The only thing we can say negative about this hotel is it needs maintenance. Wood in the shower is due for change and wood on floors as well (outside on the balcony). It looks like it could be a 5 stars. but due to maintenance it cannot be more than a 3.5 feeling. - We also had an issue with some guests that had their dogs (we love dogs) but those guests were absolutely not respectful of others. Their dogs were barking all the time we had to had the lady at front desk on our arrival. And the last day as well, but this time we told them ourselves. This is obviously not the hotel's fault to have irresponsible guests, smoking and with barking dogs like they owned the place. Overall nice place and would recommend. Just do not expect a 5 stars as you are not paying for that. But great.

There were pros and cons. Pros- good food, beautiful view and secluded (we prefer seclusion). Cons- the hot water didn’t work and the bath tub didn’t fill and was cold water, and the dirt road to get there takes 10 minutes to get in and 10 minutes to get out. It was fine, but not amazing.

Good place for relaxing. Nice and helpful staff. But this hotel is not easily accessible. You have to have a car or get taxi anywhere you wanna go which is super expensive. The beach is also a rock beach not good for walking or swimming

A very bad experience with hygiene: old towels that were disgusting to use, very dusty floors and bathroom. The pillows are the lowest quality you can imagine and they smell. Our 2 nights were prepaid, yet due to the bad experience, We checked out one night early, lost the money and went to another hotel.

The property was very easily located off thebhighway close to the town centre of tulum. We were easily able to access the hotel zone and local attractions with our rental car, but there were taxis ready to go any time for people who dont rent cars. The road to the properties was guarded 24 hours so we felt very safe. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Included breakfast were generous portions of mexican style breakfast, not buffet or contonental style, so were very good.

It was a decent boutique hotel. It could use some attention as it seems to be getting worn down. Staff was good The restaurant prices were ridiculously high and if you don't have a car your stuck. Beach is gone..eroded away construction with heavy equipment next to hotel is happening and its loud.

La atención del personal es muy muy buena. La cocina es espectacular, vale la pena comerla. Las pizzas son buenisimas, humilde opinión, me parece que el menú podría tener más opciones, principalmente en el desayuno. Lastimosamente el transporte es ajeno a ellos, sin embargo, es exageradamente caro, y el acceso es demasiado complicado, y creo q eso puede mejorar. Además tipico de casi todo Quintana Roo, los tratos ya son de turistas extranjeros, es decir, ya no distinguen precios.

Très déçu really disappointed
Très déçu de cet hôtel qui semble beaucoup plus beau et récent sur photos qu’en réalité tout est défraîchi vendu avec photo vu sur mer et reçu une chambre vu d’un ravoir mur. Vendu comme hôtel adulte seulement mais les enfants sont admis en 2 jours souper a cote d’une table avec des enfants âge environ 4-5 ans au restaurant. Very disappointed with this hotel which seems much more beautiful and newer in photos than in reality everything is shabby sold with photo seen on the sea and received a room seen from a wall repair. Sold as an adults only hotel but children are allowed in 2 days dining beside a table with children around 4-5 years at the restaurant.

Upon arriving they have brochures about tours, which is a bit of a turn off. You also have to sign about 10 pages of documents, mostly rules and liability stuff. Not the best way to be welcomed. Overall you pay for the view and the location on the beach. However the beach is a bit trashy and rocky, not good for swimming. The restaurant food is fine but not great, the breakfast was quite good. The restaurant staff is very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable with a nice bath tub, but not very spacious. Upon checkout I was told one of the robes was missing from the room. I told them to check again and of course they found it. Not nice to be implied as a thief. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff was wonderful. Food and drinks very good. The Luis x2 bartenders were great Small cute place . Very Tulum-esque. Great setup with very nice views of the sea. My only negative is it needs face lift.. update. Would love to have been there when it was new! I will definitely come back again.

El hotel esta lindo, pero lo mejor es la atención del personal! En especial de David, de Yael Arteaga y de Luis García. Ellos hicieron, sin duda de esta estancia, algo hermoso y espectacular!! Lo único malo, es que las albercas, que son muchas y están hermosas, tienen demasiado cloro!! se me despinto un traje de baño y el olor era demasiado penetrante, insoportable!! Regresaría sin pensarlo, pero si hay que bajarle al cloro!!!

Wir waren für 4 Nächte im Hotel O Tulum. Die Anfahrt war aufgrund sehr vieler Schlaglöcher sehr langwierig und auf Dauer auch ziemlich nervig. Das Hotel selbst ist mittlerweile leider in die Jahre gekommen und die Fotos stimmen nicht mehr mit denen auf Booking etc. überein. Der Pool war ziemlich dreckig (obwohl sich das Personal sehr darum bemüht hat) und ins Meer konnte man aufgrund der vielen Felsen nicht gehen. Alles in allem ist das Hotel für das, was es bietet viel zu teuer. Für jemanden, der 1 Woche nur in diesem Hotel bleiben will, nicht empfehlenswert. Das Servicepersonal war jedoch sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Thank you very much for your comments Hanna, they help us improve and check what is wrong, about the pools, they are cleaned every day, several times during the day, unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitos due to the weather and they fell into the pools, but our maintenance guys clean them periodically. Tulum is starting to grow, so the roads here and in town are not so good yet, in time they will be, I can promise that! Hope to have you back sometime

Quiet, good value, nice pools, unique nice looking building. Our sliding patio door didn’t lock but wasn’t that concerning really. Our rooms tub didn’t have a trap on it so the last two nights we were there when the upstairs flushed it made the room smell of sewer gas (I’m assuming they’ll fix that minor detail) The 2 mile dirt sand road getting there is full of craters I’m surprised our lil rental car made it. The beach isn’t swimmable but is pretty. The public swimable beach down the road is full of trash but could be really nice. Dinner and drinks most nights were $70-$100. Was good food.

Okay first off there is definitely hot water, u just have to let it run for a hot minute. Secondly they absolutely maintain their facilities…. I get up at 5:30, everyday at 6:30am they were tending to the pool. The issue is that the pools need to be drained and the bottom repainted or a liner placed. I’m not sure about concrete pool maintenance but in front of the honeymoon suites there r scrape marks across the pool from the vacuum being used. Also I did notice what I would call shawdy construction so I think they’ve been taken advantage of by a contractor at some point for sure. That being said I loved my time there and will absolutely be returning. I loved my honeymoon here, it was like a dream and their breakfast is amazing. Suggestions? I’d love for them to have a drink package

Checked out 3 days early after having no hot water. Beach had lots of garbage, pool was green. Very disappointed with our stay here

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately you had problems with the hot water which was repaired twice, we offered you to change room but you didn't accept, hot water got fixed.About the pool being green our hotel is in the middle of the jungle beside the sea, the day before we had quite a big storm and that makes that swimup pool get green, you had the infinity pool and the roof top pool available and those were not affected by the storm.The garbage at the beach, which is minimum, is garbage that the sea expells, the people at our hotel never throw garbage to the beach, and it is cleaned up daily.

Location was secluded, quiet, on the beach, and perfect. Staff was kind and amazing. The food was great and the margaritas amazing. If you’re looking to disconnect, and not be right in the city center of Tulum, this a great spot to be.

the place was quaint and quiet. I expected a little more but I was satisfied with what I got. The food was fabulous. The pools I felt needed more management, and there is n o real area in the back to be saying we were seating on the beach sunbathing. There were no hot water the whole stay. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxation stay this is your place, if you are into amenities you may want to reconsider.
