Welcome to North Star Condo, where the spirit of the Frozen North meets the home of the Crimson Tide!

Located at Houndstooth Condominiums near the University of Alabama, this 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo sleeps up to 7 and makes a comfortable home base for football weekends, campus visits, graduations, family weekends and Tuscaloosa getaways.

Enjoy two private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, three beds, an additional twin air mattress, three Smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, dedicated workspace, in-unit laundry and a private balcony.

Guests also have access to Houndstooth's resort-style pool, full fitness center and clubhouse.

THE CONDO

North Star Condo is a 1,000-square-foot, third-floor corner unit accessible by elevator. Its corner location provides additional privacy within the building.

The living room is designed for relaxing with two comfortable sofas, two ottomans for additional seating and a large Smart TV. Two counter stools can also be turned toward the living room for extra game-day seating.

The living room also provides direct access to the private balcony.

A full-size washer and dryer are located inside the condo. We provide a starter supply of laundry detergent, and an iron and ironing board are also available.

Step outside to a private balcony with seating for two—a nice spot for morning coffee or winding down after a day on campus.

LOCATION

North Star Condo puts you close to the University of Alabama campus and some of Tuscaloosa's most popular destinations.

Bryant-Denny Stadium: approximately a 20-minute walk or 6-minute drive/rideshare

Coleman Coliseum: approximately a 25-minute walk or 4-minute drive/rideshare

Restaurants, coffee and other Tuscaloosa favorites are also nearby.

PARKING & ACCESS

One parking pass is included with your stay. A second pass may be available upon request—please inquire before booking if you will need two vehicles.

Parking passes must be returned at checkout. The HOA charges a $100 replacement fee for each lost or unreturned pass.

Gate, Wi-Fi and unit-access information will be provided before check-in.

A NOTE ABOUT THE TRAIN

Houndstooth is located near the railroad tracks along the south side of campus, so passing trains can be heard from the condo.

We provide white-noise machines and fans in both bedrooms for light sleepers.

Quiet hours are 10 PM–7 AM
Please be respectful of our neighbors and other Houndstooth residents
Lost or unreturned parking passes or keys incur a $100 replacement fee per item
Stays longer than two weeks require an additional mid-stay cleaning and inspection

The condo is equipped with noise-monitoring devices that measure sound levels only. They do not record conversations or audio.
