“Lovely hotel with pleasant staff”

“The cottage is in a lovely location, very close to Filey, with some lovely walks around the village. The quirky Ship Inn (100 yds away) provides wonderful food and a very warm welcome. The 'little Stithy' cottage was very comfortable, however, we felt it didn't need the kitchen in the same room. We were kept awake most of the night from the humming of the fridge and the bright timer light on the microwave! A tea towel remedied this. “Made a lovely home for our three day stay rather than basic hotel room”

“Stayed here last week for 2 nights bed and breakfast. Amy, the owner, was absolutely lovely. Made us feel so very welcome throughtout our stay and willing to help with anything we needed to know.. The breakfast and choice was as one of the best. Ideally placed as just few minutes walk from the Spa , sea front and town centre. We booked a small ensuite double room, which was fine however we both said we if we're going to return we think we'd choose to upgrade to bigger one in future. The...

“The room was clean, bed was comfortable and the hotel location is good. Self check-in was very well explained and easy to do.”

“Great location, nice food. Restaurant closes too early (7.30 pm last orders) Bath shower needs adjustments and shelves as well. Nice staff, however too in a rush for the last guests to leave the restaurant! ”

“A beautiful mobile home, actually much better than the photos showed, including having a proper bath in the bathroom!! Good location for getting out and about, walking to the beach on site is very steep and if you're not good at walking, it would be a challenge, but there are plenty of good beaches that are accessible locally. Only down side was the full glass door in the lounge area without blinds, so sitting in your jammies was in full view of anyone walking past!”

“Monarch has a good location, decor a bit dated but spotlessly clean, good bed, linen and towels very clean. Good breakfast, and they did gluten free for me which was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. ”

“If you want something reasonably priced this is the place for you , We stayed for two nights in a pod and found it very comfortable and enjoyable , we will defo be back !!!”

“ Perfect position near all amenities. Great access to beach. The caravan was clean and very well equipped including excellent cooking and washing facilities. Unfortunately there were no drying facilities, even for wet towels and swimwear. The indoor and outdoor furniture was rather tired and uncomfortable. ”
