“This place has potential. The rooms were clean but there was no hot water, the bathroom windows did not shut properly so could net be secured. It is off the beaten path and a bit hard to find. The set-up around the pool is nice. There were mosquito nets and the bed was comfy. The tv had one station and there was no wi-fi. Breakfast was good but selection was limited. ”

“Not Pleasant. The photos online are misleading. Definitely not 2.5 star rated on website. At best a 1 star ratings. Jinja in general is a run down place. The rooms were very small, barely fits a bed and very little space to move around. No outlets to plug iphones or Ipads. The bathrooms are in an extremely dilapidated state with leaking plumbing and unpleasant toilet seats. Luke warm water only. We had to leave at 5 am and packed breakfast was two slices of plain bread and a small box of mango...

“We stayed here only one night. The family room we got for 4 was very small and hot. Mosquito nets on the beds were nice although we saw very few mosquitoes. Bathroom did not have very hot water and of course, as all of the places we stayed at on Uganda, no shower curtain. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful although not very friendly. Location was not close to very much. The Wifi did not work at all.”

“The price was so reasonable and the services were great. They keep the room clean and there is a mosquito net. The location is also perfect. I easily went to shops, Source of The Nile and the taxi station. The security guards keep the hotel safe.”

“The hotel is situated in a lovely location. The service was poor, staff seemed like they weren’t bothered. The food was extremely dry, over cooked and chewy. When complained did not bat an eyelid. We stayed for 4 nights, not once our room was cleaned. Overall wasn’t happy with the room either, sockets in the room didn’t work properly. The only thing I loved was that I could have my really hot showers. ”
