“We were visiting the Uni in Aberystwyth the following morning and with a 4 hour journey needed an affordable, easy to find stop off. The staff were so friendly. Room was perfect for our quick overnight stay. Very quiet area with great views. Lovely traditional bar to have a relaxing drink and snack in. Didn’t eat at hotel but the dining space looked clean and inviting. Will definitely use this hotel again as my son will be attending the uni from Sep I will be making that journey often and...

“This chalet is just perfect, everything about the stay I could't fault. As it is the only chalet on the property you get complete privacy and your own field for activities with a lovely pond to walk around too. The lack of wifi is actually amazing and feels like a real getaway. The hot tub and firepit kept us entertained all evening anyway! “A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.”

“The place was really nice, we stayed at the top yurt with an amazing view. Hot showers and a flushing toilet near by as well. The kids had a great time with chickens walking around the the trails on the ground. Not an issue, but just confirm if you need to take bedding, we got two messages that first thought it was included then the seconds looked like it wasnt. It was, we brought duvets and pillows we didnt need though, our fault, just be aware.”

“My son and I had a lovely couple of nights at the lodge. The park was peaceful and beautiful with all the trees around. My son enjoyed using the pool and the playground. The lodge was well equipped with plenty of plates, cups, pans, cutlery etc. Bedding and towels are charged extra, which I didn’t realise until after booking, but worth it for not having the hassle of making up beds. The lodge was spotlessly clean in every room. The welcome gifts were much appreciated after our journey. ...

“For anyone wanting to "get away from it all" this provides a unique opportunity. No phone signal and no internet in the area where the Shepherd huts are situated provides perfect peace.
