High Desert Homestead nära Joshua Tree

Njut av panoramautsikt, fantastiska solnedgångar och stargazing. Beläget på 5+ privata tunnland med orörd ökenlandskap, känns fastigheten "borta från allt" men ändå tillgängligt för alla ökenpunkter av intresse: 20 minuter till JT Natl Park, 15 minuter till både centrum av Yucca Valley och centrum av Joshua Tree, 10 minuter till Integratron, 20 minuter till Pioneertown.

Havalina har 5 tunnland ökenmark, ett huvudhus och en casita, som var den ursprungliga husstugan på fastigheten. Huset och casita, som båda ingår i din hyra, förenas av en stor utomhusgård med ett picknickbord, gasgrill, eldstad och barstolar för att njuta av solnedgången. Baksidan av huset har en täckt veranda med gungstolar, en hängmatta och ett enormt skuggträd som ger ett magiskt ljud när vinden blåser.

Den eklektiska interiören är smakfullt inredda med handplockade loppmarknadsfynd, vintage & återvunna trämöbler och unika konstverk. Båda sovrummen har oändlig utsikt över utomhus och bekväma verkliga sängar (1 king, 1 full) samt gott om garderobsutrymme. Vardagsrummet har en stor soffa, platt-TV och DVD-spelare. Det finns ett fullt utrustat kök med grunder och en liten frukostkrog. Casita har en mycket bekväm bäddsoffa, en skivspelare och meditationskuddar - en perfekt plats att bara koppla av och / eller logi för en extra gäst.

Second time staying here -- a desert dream

I love Scott and Vanessa's place! It's perfect if you're looking for a house for a small group that's off the beaten path. The house is thoughtfully curated with unique art and decor, and you can tell a lot of time was spent styling the home. The backyard patio is perfect for stargazing by the fire, and the home is stocked with everything you could need! I can't wait to come back soon!

Desert Dreams

We loved getting a taste of desert living! The home was beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to relax and escape our daily lives. We played records, relaxed in the hammock while the coyotes howled, and did some stargazing. We really felt away from it all, but it was only 15 minutes or so to shops, restaurants, and the National Park. Check in/out could not have been simpler. Highly recommend!

A Classic Experience

Our third or fourth stay, as great as the rest. You can't argue with the price and the property is just right for a small family. Always very clean and modestly provisioned, with almost everything you need to have a nice little getaway. The appliances all work well and many are new. Heating/cooling is excellent! The respectful owners do not abuse their guests with overbearing rules and the check-in experience is fully automatic.Only a couple of minor complaints: the finicky Wi-Fi and outdated electronics, which admittedly are not an essential amenity (unless you are a teenager from the city), and some of the doors are sticky or difficult to open/close.Sadly, the neighborhood is getting busier. There was a broken-down yellow school bus parked next door during our stay, and we heard the occasional sound of construction in the distance, which has an effect on the peace and quiet of the desert. This is unfortunately common for many spots in the area and something you might encounter staying anywhere around. Most of the day, it is a peaceful place to stay and this property specifically is a very beautiful spot to sit and hang out during the hours before and after sunset.

Probably one of our best experience with a host and stay. House was well furnished and supplied. Easy check in. Check out requirements were extremely reasonable. Area was quiet and beautiful located in the Joshua trees. Will definitely use again

Quiet birthday get-away

Such a lovely property off the beaten path

We loved this house so much! We felt such good vibes the moment we walked in (I mean c’mon, a light switch for a salt lamp? Love it!) the place is decorated with such cool prints and furniture, I assume were thrifted which also is a huge plus. The casita was a perfect extra room and we were even able to work from home without any troubles with WiFi. The roads are a little bumpy but the hosts made it clear which ways to go to avoid any trouble. If you stay here, wake up for the sunrise, you won’t regret it! And the snow covered mountains in the distance were gorgeous. Thanks so much for your hospitality and all your communication. Bookmarking this place for the future for sure!

Living the dream

We stayed here for four days in July and the property was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t ask for better host. The property was clean and organized and very welcoming. Has games and streaming stick ready to go also. The temperature was always comfortable the views are absolutely gorgeous. We slept 5 no problem. I visit here often and try to stay in different places every time. But this place is worth staying everytime.

Lovely Home

We so enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we could possibly need. Vanessa the owner was available to answer our questions and communication and recommendations was excellent. Peace and quiet

Very relaxing stay at Havalina! Especially loved having a sunset cocktail at the fence bar and enjoying the fire pit at night. The separate casita with comfy couch and the back covered porch with hammock provide spaces for quiet reading time.

Relaxing Escape From The City

This place was wonderful and relaxing. Spent the mornings outside talking with family and enjoying the birds come by. The courtyard was perfect for our dogs. They loved laying out and taking in the air as did we! The set up was great! Including the beds! They were soooo comfortable!! I was able to wake up rested! At night was the best! It felt so peaceful just being outside by the fire pit, and even when didn’t have the fire going on just looking at the stars brought that kid like feeling you had when you were young, and laid on the street to look at them. I can’t wait to come back next year....FYI the AC works great! And they did a great job of communicating with us. They checked in via email a few days after to make sure everything was okay. I thought that was thoughtful...thank you for your hospitality!

Lovely house near the national Park

We are 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The house has 2 nice and spacious bedrooms. The house was clean. it is very well decorated. We could listen to the silence. We had a very good time.

This home was so cozy and the Southwest decor was awesome and so unique. They had literally anything you could possibly need here, from spices to cook with to toiletries. Super quiet and peaceful at night because it's a quiet little neighborhood.

Always a great stay!

Terrific property and very clean! Directions in both GPS and owner were extremely helpful. FYI, there's a dirt road to get here but it is not terrible. Part of the Joshua Tree experience! I would recommend cooking when visiting Joshua Tree, all the restaurants had 3+ hour waits and were no longer taking names. But overall, the property was beyond our expectations! The owner has cute little things, like a surplus of DVD's and DVD player available!
