Settle into this charming and cozy 2+ bedroom cottage in scenic Twillingate. When you enter, your eyes will instantly be drawn through the large window to the expansive views of the North Atlantic. You'll start your days sipping coffee or tea curled up on the couch and end your days by the outdoor fire pit after observing another stunning red sunset. Whether inside or outside, this home offers the perfect spot to observe and enjoy life in this peaceful, rural outport community.

The Space:
Welcome to your home away from home in Twillingate! This charming cottage offers a comfortable and inviting layout. The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen that opens to a combined dining and living area, and extends to a sunroom which serves as a dining space. A convenient half-bathroom with laundry facilities is located off the kitchen. Upstairs, you'll find a full bathroom, two well-appointed bedrooms, and a cozy loft area offering two additional beds. Outside, enjoy a large deck with water views and a lawn area complete with a fire pit, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings.

Beautiful Location

This home has a stunning view of the bay. The home is clean and is in a very quiet area. Very close to town. The bedrooms are up a steep flight of stairs and so this may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. There are two bedrooms upstairs with doors and another bed and daybed in a common area. It would he good for a family. We had a lovely stay.

Great location, beautiful view, very comfortable, and well maintained and clean living quarters. Central to a number of tourist attractions, shopping and dining. Beautiful sunsets. A friendly town.

Wonderful stay

Red sunset cottage had everything we needed to enjoy the Twillingate area with a fantastic view! We were excited to see a small iceberg float by and enjoyed watching the lobsterman pull in their catch from the cottage. The property owner was very communicative and made sure that we had all of the information we needed at the cottage. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Quaint Cottage by the Bay

Lovely liitle house that feels much larger due to its design with large open spaces downstairs and lots of large windows with ocean views from almost every room. Very nice, quiet charming neighborhood. With lots of great walking areas. 5 minute drive (probably also walkable) to stores and restaurants. Great communication from owners and all the necesities provided as well as a few extra perks like a stocked Keurig coffee maker as well as telescope and bino culars for whale and iceberg watching

Room with a view!

My husband, adult daughter and my two sisters loved the area and the cottage was perfectly situated for drives, walks, museums and more. The cottage is clean, modern and well provisioned. Very quiet too. Marie was a message away if we needed anything...which we didn't. Loved the area. Thank you.

Tidy gem with awesome views

Spent three nights in this cute and clean property with great views close to town. Everything was updated or new. The washer/dryer was greatly appreciated. The owner was in regular contact during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. A perfect property in a perfect place.

Beautiful Twillingate with a beautiful sunset

The house was everything we could ask for. Beautiful view from the deck. Beach within a short walk and very nice sunset. Location was great, it was an easy short 1-2 min drive to main road restaurants etc... The washer and dryer came in handy in the middle of our 11 day trip. We did cook breakfast but went out for lunch and dinner. I would highly recommend it!

Red Sunset Dream

The whole experience was great. It was relaxing and a great anchor for our vacation. The view was fantastic. Having the freedom to cook our meals was crucial as we had to deal with food allergies and picky eaters. I would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous Cottage by the Sea

What an absolutely gorgeous location. We arrived just at the end of sunset and were absolutely taken by the wide sweep of the sky and the ocean just a brief walk from the property. The house is comfortable and well laid out, and was much more spacious than I thought it would be. The master bedroom has a stunning view out over the water, but all the rooms are comfortable. It's a very quick walk to the beach and a small walking trail, and a short jaunt into town, making it ideally located for a stay in Twillingate.

Wonderful stay!! The house is very clean and well appointed. It is not far from town. We had a lovely stay with our family. Even saw fireworks from the deck. Wish we had stayed longer!

July 2023 stay

We just returned home from a three week trip to the Maritimes and this cottage was our favorite accommodation by far! When you walk through the door the view nearly smacks you down! The view of the cove is stunning and we enjoyed having morning coffee in the deck. Everything was spotless. Communication with owners was flawless. Super well equipped! The photos don’t do any justice. Twillingate stole our hearts -friendly people, iceberg, unending views at every corner. Would return in a heart beat!

Great area

The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony and a beautiful sunset. We also had the opportunity to enjoy a boat excursion on the iceberg queen and we’re fortunate to see quite a few icebergs. The neighbours across the road were also very friendly.

Wonderful location and property

The keyless check in was easy, the house charming and super clean but the best was the view of a typical NL waterfront along with rocks and iceberg! The kitchen was well stocked, it was easy driving distance from restaurants, boat tours
there is a large balcony, all around the house. There are 2 closed bedrooms upstairs and a 3rd one in between. It would be nice if the skylights in this middle room were covered to help sleep a bit later in the morning. Highly recommend it!
